How do I adjusted to 0? Mine is off by 3/4 of an inch

Mine broke literally the 2nd time I went to use it. Their isn’t a way to zero it like a chronograph. I went back to using the simple stick kind.

How to calibrate and adjust this guage? Someone in the reviews there is a video out there but I can't find it

It’s in the ad on Amazon set to 0 push pin into tire tread read gauge

Does anyone know the difference between the S448 and the 448 version (other than about $2)?

You are inquiring about Milton Industries product. It may be helpful to ask users of those products. However, as far as I can ascertain the "S" stands for single (as in one gauge per purchase), while the non-S 448 is a box of 10. Good luck.

Will this gauge be back to zero when you release the button?

You manually press the shaft back up until flush to reset back to zero. Just like a cheap simple depth gauge.
