Great starting setup, although it is hard to clean inside the diffuser. The microcontroller works and maintains humidity correctly. I would recommend this for growing delicious mushrooms.

This kit is amazing. It included everything I needed but the spores and instructions. I have very little experience and my first flush is almost in with zero problems. About to order more supplies. The only part I didn't love is that during fruiting the lid is supposed to sit on the handles to create an inlet for O2 but it doesn't stay at all. Then the water drops into the bin. The price is also pretty inflated for what it is, which is why I took off a star.

I absolutely am amazed with how well this works. I’m using it to keep a Martha tent at 80-95% humidity and it only used just under a quarter of the water to get it up to the humidity and now it’s been maintain that humidity for over a week and I haven’t even used half the reservoir. I’m quite impressed. It is working well above my expectations. It also puts out a very fine mist that is like a haze so it produces moisture that is very fine so you don’t get a mess everywhere when it’s running. I would definitely recommend this for keeping humidity maintained in an area that is up to a 4’ x 4’ x 8’ tent. It would probably work just fine on larger tents too but would likely need to be refilled more frequently. I haven’t tested larger sizes though, so that’s just my gut feeling on it.

The grain bag is good and so is the tub, that’s where it ends. Honestly just buy boomer groomer substrate. It’s cheaper and just better, no contamination. I’m a first time grower. I inoculated my grain bag. After 3 weeks I ordered this kit so that I had fresh substrate, but after 1 week one of the substrate bags became moldy. I reached out and they were kind and sent another bag. Then another week later when I am ready to actually plant. The other two substrate bags have mold in them. Honestly I wouldn’t even use the replacements they send me, because if 3 of 3 bags are contaminated that is not a good sign. The boomer shroomer bags work fine for substrate and is $26 , which is way cheaper than $90. A waste of money in my opinion and I will buy my grain from another brand in the future as well just because of the bad experience with the substrate. Just buy the tub for $50, a brick of my coco coir for $5. Boomer shroomer substrate for $26. 2 myco grain bags for $25. And filters for $8. You’ll save a decent amount of money and end up with better product overall

Great for beginners and customer service is great.I had an issue with my order being damaged on delivery. Went and emailed customer support and within 48 hours they had a replacement sent out without question. Absolutely love the company and would recommend.The product itself is great and high quality. Easy for growing mushrooms if your not highly experienced

I’m very disappointed with North Spore regarding this product. It arrived with NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to automate mushroom production for different mushroom species. Yes, there were instructions for the MYCO controller and the MYCO-MISTER, but nothing about using the monotube to produce mushrooms. Unfortunately, instruction #7 for the MYCO-MISTER mini says, “Do not fill beyond the max fill line.” THERE IS NO MAX FILL LINE! The FAE fan comes with 4 bolts, one of which had no head and required a washer (from me) to attach the fan to the tub. Additionally, the tub itself seems very flimsy compared with a Sterlite tote, for instance, which many growers use to make their own tubs and it has latches that make it extremely difficult to seal the lid.The YouTube videos I’ve watched on this product (including those from North Spore) refer to instructions regarding assembly (which isn’t very difficult) and, more importantly, how to adjust the air and humidity for different mushrooms. Without these instructions, what good is an automated tub?If the Boomr Bin ultimately works, it will have been worth the price, but the lack of quality control, quality materials, and consumer respect is a big disappointment for me in a company that has always provided quality service in the past.

Great product! It comes with everything you need except an optional repeat cycle timer. This is my second Boomr Bin and I like it as much as the first one. I enjoyed setting it up and am using it with a mushroom block from North Spore plus one from a local grocery store. I am already getting little baby mushrooms (pins).

Showed up broken. Spent a small fortune on this set up to be let down by a broken product. Went from extremely excited to disappoint.
