Works great for protecting my hardwood floor from some underbed drawers. The casters on the drawer were marking up the 100+ yo hardwood floors which can't be resurfaced much more. These also are sticking out from under the bed about a foot and they're barely noticeable because of how clear they are and they're soft enough not to cut your feet like an acrylic type mat might. Only major negative is the smell. After several weeks they still smell bad. I'm hoping it will fade soon. Also because they're rolled up, it's hard to get them totally flat. In fact the only reason they're at all noticable sticking out of the bed is because of the ripples. I've been thinking about gently trying a heat gun to soften the material a bit and then put something flat and heavy on it. But these are minor complaints since they're somewhat expected of this kind of material.

I purchased this mat to replace a cheaper version I had previously purchased. I’m extremely pleased with the quality. The mat is sturdy and works well on my law to medium pile carpet. It was a little tough to unroll. However, using a blow dryer quickly allowed the mat to lay flat.

Once I unrolled it, it seems fine. But unrolling it was a war, and it fought back with those prickles. Watch out for them. Other than that it is a great product. I wish the packager would not roll it so tight.

My only complaint is that it was rolled so tight that it took two people to unroll it and I had to cover it with heavy books etc..to get it to stay flat. It is thick and I assume very durable.

This mat has new cracks appearing in it daily, and is being held together by Grizzly tape. I don't know why it keeps cracking, perhaps because it never flattened entirely (my fault?), perhaps because it is too thick of a mat for a thin carpet, or is not made to withstand the pressure of my chair. I am an average weight person, and have used the same chair before with another mat without problem. I hereby declare this to be a failed product.

The chair mat comes tightly rolled and takes about a day to flatten out in a 72 degree room. I placed books on the mat to help flatten the surface. I needed a thick mat to line the bottom shelf of a pantry. The surface is painted so the mat will protect the paint but allow for heavy appliances, like an insta-pot and bread machine, to slide in and out. The surface is lightly textured, almost smooth, for easy washing and has no toxic odor. I was able to cut the mat with heavy duty scissors. This mat is much better than a silicone liner than doesn’t allow you to slide items across it.

When it comes to these office chair mats, I find that they can be really expensive, like $100+ Then a few that are more like $40 to $50, but the cheaper ones are thinner and use cheaper material. Those that are made for thick pile carpets will be thicker, so the chair doesn't sink. I tried to find one of these magical "thicker" ones, but it's impossible to figure out from the Amazion listings alone. They come rolled up a and they do need to be flattened out properly. I put heavy items on it for several days, and areas that were not flattened were still bulging. I found you need to put heavy items on 100% of surface to fully flatten out this mat. I've had one of these in another place which seemed the same thickness and same type of mat, but that one didn't sag or sink. THIS one does sag and sink into carpeted floors. Maybe my underlay is a bit softer? It's hard to know for sure, but I can confirm, yes, this mat is a bit soft and does sag under soft carpet. I have not seen it crack and break though. What can be done? Buy one of those more expensive ones for thick carpets? Maybe. It's just OK as it is. I like the 100pointONE product, because it comes in different sizes, and I got the 48x48, which is great for my corner desk.

The product arrived in an undamaged box, but upon opening, a crack and hole were visible while unrolling the mat. I did an exchange via the Amazon app and was able to schedule a pickup for the returning item. The replacement arrived before the returned item was picked up. The replacement arrived in a damaged box, but it was in perfect condition! The width of this chair mat is perfect for my WFH long stand-up/sit-down desk. I was happy to find exactly what I needed and a smooth process with the issues that did arise. Highly recommend
