Freenove ESP32 Kit ESP32 Camera Board Ultimate Starter Kit

Tbh i have no idea what im doin so i bought this kit to learn somthin new, i also processed to purchase a heltec mesh esp32 kit as well so wish me luck on learning something new. But so far everything looks legit and new and am excited to learn more about it

Item is great can be used for so many projects

3/1/26 I down graded my original review because after buying an ESP32 Dev board from a different manufacturer I realized the ADC offset problems I was having was only with boards from Freenove. Original review: This a really good value because the documentation contains 2 tutorials. An Arduino/C++ Tutorial and a Thonny/Python tutorial. I chose the Python tutorial which made learning more difficult because most YouTube videos use the Arduino IDE (probably because there are so many examples). I had to contact Support more times than usual but they were always responsive. The projects hardware is mostly the usual components. Nothing was defective. I recommend enclosing the code in try/except Exception as e: print(e) for those times when nothing happens.

The person who put this package together did an excellent job. Make sure you search for the correct downloads for the ESP32 microcontroller. The instructions are well detailed. There was a lot of care in putting this together. This is a great educational kit for anyone looking to learn Arduino programming with the ESP32.

This is a very fun kit to play with. I had a few problems getting the CH340 driver to install but once past that I am enjoying getting back into electronics and programming. Freenove.com tech support has been wonderful answering all of my questions. It makes me feel like they really do care about their customers and helping them.

Freenove is great to work with when you have difficulties. For this reason I now recommend this kit.
