It is questionable if it is. This sling came from a dealer that I believe is located in China. I have purchased 9 Titanium Steel Slingshots I use them every day. They are not designed for a beginner they are very close to being a pickle-fork. I regularly test several different type bands and this is a perfect slingshot for that type of testing, as for where they are made, I'm not sure, even so it is a fair guess they are not made in the US. I do love the feel and look of this sling and for $13.68 I am ordering two at a time and will do so this month.

Q: How do you attach the band that comes with it?

It does not come with an attachment method. I have used a cut rubber band, a zip tie, string, a sliver of rubber like the band. Just be mindful before using.

Q: can this kill a squirrel?

It’s meant for .177 caliber bbs. You wouldn’t kill a squirrel with one of those from it. But if you use the small slingshot shot you could do some damage. It’ll go right through both sides of a beer can from 15 yards.
