I bought this Frosty the Snowman Little Golden Book for my grandkids because my own kids loved the movie so much when they were little. I wasn’t sure how it would compare, but it completely captured their attention. They were so engaged with the story and pictures that they didn’t even ask to watch TV.The story is simple, sweet, and full of Christmas magic, and the illustrations feel nostalgic in the best way. Not the books I remember
Still the same story, but the Little Golden Books I remember were really books: these seem little more than two pieces of tag board with pages bonded between. I guess that’s how they’ve kept the cost down.Still readable, a good story, and my 3-year-old great niece enjoys them.
