Perfect for Perimenopause!
I love this progesterone and the fact that I have control over the dosage. The downside is that the dropper continues to come apart. It's a very cheaply made dropper. This is the second bottle so I know it wasn't just one defective bottle. Because of this, I now will have to purchase the cream in the pump bottle. Otherwise, great progesterone! It has helped tremendously during my journey through perimenopause!

Not in oil as it claims
Unfortunately this progesterone doesnโt work. And itโs not in a vitamin E oil as it claims (it has a murky thick consistency of a cream. This is a sad example of a supplement industry thatโs not really regulated by anyone in USA. I used other progesterone creams and know how they work on my body. I also used progesterone in real vitamin E and know exactly how it supposed to look. I donโt recommend this to anyone.

A good brand of progesterone
This seems to be a good, clean brand of progesterone. The results vary for me, however. Sometimes it helps calm me before bed, and other times I wake up feeling wired. I seem to do best using it every other night rather than nightly, to prevent weird anxiety wake ups. I also tend to only be able to tolerate a half dose, but must admit my body tends to overreact to a lot of meds and supplements, so I wouldn't take my experience as a universal one. I do follow typical instructions in that I only take it until the first week of my cycle where I stop it, and then start up again, also with the approval of my doctor. I have noticed some positive benefits so continue with it. I've had symptoms of low progesterone (also verified through testing) since my mid 20's so try to supplement to help regulate some of those symptoms and to make for safer pregnancies. No brand I've tried, Rx or not, have worked miracles, but I notice subtle improvements.

Needs a Pump Dispense
I have been using this product for several years now. The manufacturer would do well to switch from this dropper bottle to a pump style bottle. Progesterone is not very soluble, so unless you shake the bottle very well or warm it up then it is hard to dispense with a dropper...pretty much a mess! I warm the bottle then pour off into a larger PET bottle and use a pump to dispense.

Will not buy again; BE AWARE- Dropper is PLASTIC, NOT GLASS! Updated, too-
Letting plastic soak in oil is pretty much the same as reheating things in the microwave in a plastic container- it releases microplastics into the oil/food. Most people who need to supplement progesterone do so because of estrogen dominance, which is exacerbated by a heavy toxic load in the body. This may be why many reviews say this product is not effective. Also, the label foes say no synthetic INGREDIENTS or Parabens, but again, the plastic shaking in the ingredients is synthetic, and some plastics do contain paraben. So label is technically accurate but not exactly full disclosure. PLEASE just switch to a glass dropper! My other problem with this product is that the MCT oil does not soak into my skin as rapidly as other brands/formulas with MCT oil, and it also leaves my skin very sticky for quite a while. The more you need to use, the longer it stays sticky. On top of that, this progesterone does not seem to be managing my symptoms like my preferred brand (with the EXACT same ingredients and concentration of progesterone in it- P r o D r o p s by G l o w N atural W ellness). It takes more drops of this and this is still less effective. The only reason I tried Progest MAXX was because I accidentally used my last bottle of G l o w before I reordered more (I thought I had 1 more bottle in my supplies but I didn't), and I was NOT going to pay an additional 30% of the price of the drops for 3 day shipping with them. This Prime product got here overnight for free- otherwise it would be 2 star rating. UPDATE- My original 3 star rating was too generous. After only 3 days' use it is losing effectiveness fast, even though I increased the number of drops I am using and the frequency. It IS better than nothing, but I'd say that overall, it's only about 25-30% as effective as the G l o w brand. I guess if you need a low maintenance dose this might work for you, but if you need higher doses this does not seem to be up to the job. 2 star rating is the best I can give it. 2nd update- Giving 3 stars again, as Progest Maxx was quickly responsive to this review, and I appreciate that they made the effort to do that.

Works well as sublingual or topical
Works very well, either sublingually or topically. Only issue is that, given the thickness, I'm not sure what size a "drop" is supposed to be (for measuring dose).

Potent and easy
I love this product. The high potency makes it so easy to rotate areas for application each day, because I only need a few drops. Creams with pumps always require lots of skin to soak them up. Not this one!
