Easy to set up and works great!
Got this a few weeks ago and it’s been working well overall.Upsides: The set up was straightforward. The parts assemble easily and it was simple to customize, like removing the curtain and installing the smaller-holed mesh screen. Our 3-month old kittens took to it right away and were able to hop in without issues. I like that I can set it to clean automatically after use (with my preferred post-use wait time) or I can manually start it or schedule it at specific times. The bumpy mat inside is easy to dust off and rinse to keep things tidier. The litter bags are easy to remove and replace. With two kittens using the box between 6-9 times a day total, I’ve been replacing the bag twice a week. Customer service has been responsive to questions via the app.Downsides: This litter box uses specific litter bags designed only for this device, which can get pricey and annoying to order. For the total price of the device, I think the app could be improved. After some finagling, I’m still unable to get notifications and wish the log was more streamlined. I also wish the deodorizing unit was more earth-friendly and refillable rather than a new plastic cartridge for each replacement. And due to the design of the entrance, litter ends up sprinkling on the ground all around the exit, so I needed to buy an extra mat to catch the extra litter. And lastly, the unit is big!Overall: I haven’t used other automatic litter boxes, so I can compare only to manually scooping litter 2+ times a day and would say it’s definitely a yes to buying this. It’s easy to assemble, use, and clean. Just be prepared for the additional expenses is all.

Do Not Settle For Less! Buy It!!
My review contains first impressions, adjustment period, long term use, cleaning, comparison to competition, and feedback to PetSnowy.Long story short, this is by far the box you need to buy, do not settle with the competition or you will be disappointed with some other overseas hunk of junk.Day 1, Unpacking/ ConfigurationThis litter box was refreshingly simple. There is little to no assembly required. You essentially pull it out of the box, remove the tape, connect the app (which took 2 minutes) and it’s ready to go.Day 2, Adjustment PeriodMy cats immediately adjusted to the box. I tried to make it as easy as possible for them while giving them room to figure it out. I have an 8 year old female cat and a 7 month old male cat. I popped out and set aside the curtain, poured their prior litter box contents into this one, discarded the old box, and set both cats individually into the litter box so they understood what it was for. An important note: I also completely changed rooms (from my office to the living room) and this did not phase them a bit. A couple things that may have helped, I turned off automation for the scent and automation for clean up. I wanted to ensure they could smell and they weren’t being spooked by new sounds. They may have found it without these adjustments, but I believe it helped.3 Months, Long TermI’ve used it for a few months now and mannnn.. This has quickly become a necessity. I really have to say, this outcompetes every other automatic litter box on the market because of thorough and thoughtful design. The little hallway is PIVATOL. All other litter box designs will still drive you crazy with the problem of litter tracking every time your cat hops out. I am safe to forget about this box for a week, box right in the living room, and never think to clean it. This box has yet to show any issues.CleaningCleaning is beyond easy. There’s zero litter on my floors for all times. I no longer have to wake to the smell of waste, or worry about leaving the house for a day or two only come back to.. gah.. And when you do get to a point where you need to deep clean the parts, it’s a breeze. There are no locking pieces, or clips, or anything that’s gonna make running a couple wipes over plastic a hassle. One thing that makes cleaning easier is a handheld vacuum, just a heads up.CompetitionRoughly 6 months prior to this purchase, I purchased (and quickly returned) an automatic litter box from a different seller. My frustration from that box started within the first hour of set up. With that machine, I remember I had to disassemble and reassemble just to get it running, and the app would not connect until I troubleshooted online. It had sooo many problems, and was unusable within the first month. Of course, after I returned, I went back to cleaning litter the default way, scoop in my hand. I never realized how gross it was! Waste right in your face for several minutes.. I was gagging every morning. On top of all I’ve already mentioned, PetSnowy’s machine is the only one that takes into factor litter tracking.Things for PetSnowy to improve on with future models:< I think the current material is great, it’s really not cheap feeling, and it was likely chosen because it’s lightweight. I do however think a lot of people would lean towards a harder plastic even at the cost of a price bump. There’s just a huge difference in the feel of a hard smooth shiny plastic that’s unexplainably satisfying.< Please include a curved scraper to help along anything that gets stuck. I notice that what does get stuck usually falls on its own eventually, but there was a brief time where I felt the need to constantly help it along with a normal scoop.< Alternate liner options; The current liners are simply expensive. I have a cabinet plump full of Walmart sacks ready to serve a purpose. You would make great sales on a replacement drawer intended to hold grocery sacks in place rather than having us buy these specialty bags. I assume the reason you have specialty bags is so you can afford to sell such a reliable system, but still.. The current bags are unreasonably expensive for a budget conscious consumer.< The curtain is a difficult adjustment. My cats just think it’s closed, and I ended up with a pile by the door the day I tried reattaching. Now that I think about it, I will probably try a paper clamp, make the opening smaller and smaller. Please include something similar for others.< Rollers are likely in demand for a lot of your elders. I’m in my 20’s so it’s not an issue for me, but the box plus litter can get fairly heavy. For those who are not capable of moving, I can imagine they would quickly opt in to purchase attachable rollers for the sack of cleaning underneath.

Clean and quiet
I got my Petsnowy about three weeks again- so far it’s been great. I followed the instructions and put some treats in the entryway, and I also taped the flap open for the first week because my cat hasn’t used a flap before. My cat used the box right away even though it’s quite different than her older model.Petsnowy delivers in its promise. My cat no longer kicks litter out all over the floor. A tiny bit of litter escapes- I imagine maybe from her paws- but it nothing like what she used to leave behind! The unit cleans out after her potty sessions and is amazingly quiet while doing it. It does not smell! (I change the bag twice weekly for hygiene,) changing bags is easy and not super smelly. The bag is closed when I open the drawer. I simply unhook it, fold it over, and place in the trash bin. There is little litter outside the bad. I also spray with a disinfectant each time I replace the bag to keep area clean and reduce chance of smell embedding in the plastic drawer.Petsnowy has been particularly helpful for me because I have a small space and there really isn’t a dedicated place, like a separate laundry room or basement, where I can keep a litter box out of sight and smell!A couple of things I’ve noticed: the system tacks the weight of each cat so it can identify which cat is in the litter box. This hasn’t worked so well. It thinks my cat is 1 lb more than she actually is most but not all of the time. I ended up creating two separate profiles for her with different weights so it can tag her use when it the weight varies. This isn’t so much of an issue because I only have one cat. If you have multiple cats and want to track they box use, I’m not 100% certain it would be reliable. The unit is on the large size and can’t be placed on carpet. (I may eventually get some partial board to put it on so I can move it to its final spot in another room that has carpet.) Also, you will be locked into purchasing their bags but that is a fair trade off for me because it nicely solves my litter problems.

Great and easy
Easy setup and the best auto potty i have tried! Had a litter robot for 4 years and i like this. Supplies are expensive but it’s worth it.
