Can this case work with s pen now?

Mine works perfectly with the s pen. Very pleased with this case.

Does the screen automatically turn on/off when you open/close the case cover like other magnetic cases sold here on Amazon?

Yes, turns on/off with the cover.

How do I use the tab in portrait mode with the cover on? Can I fold the cover inside out?

I open case and just fold the flap underneath. Works fine when holding. Can't have as a stand in portrait mode only works in landscape
