I fell in love with turtles at a young age. It started with finding a newly hatched desert tortoise at Joshua Tree while camping in the spring. I had seen many adult desert tortoises over the years but never a newly hatched infant one. We left it to hopefully survive as it’s illegal to remove desert tortoises from their natural habitat but I was so tempted to take it home! Later on my husband and I acquired several adult tortoises legally and they laid eggs yearly and we raised the babies. I graduated to loving sea turtles after swimming near adult ones in both Hawaii and Guam. These little hand blown baby hatchling sea turtles are so realistic and come in such beautiful colors I bought one of each. I put them in a sunny window to show off their colors. They are small but so adorable for any turtle lover, very realistic in shape and features, unlike many others listed which don’t look realistic. I would buy more if they come out with more colors.
