Upgrade from a k55
Great product, works well and feels responsive, minima noise and nice texture to its appearance; definitely give it a try!

First gaming keyboard and CORSAIR is product of your dreams
I recently purchased the Corsair K70 RGB keyboard and I have been very impressed with it so far. The value for the money is honestly one of the best parts about it. It feels like a keyboard that should cost more based on the quality and performance you get. The responsiveness is excellent. Every key press feels smooth and very quick, and it keeps up easily whether I am gaming or just typing. It has that fast, consistent response that makes a noticeable difference compared to other keyboards I have used. There is some noise when typing, but it comes from how smooth the keys feel. The keys move very easily and feel almost buttery, which I personally think is worth the tradeoff. The design is another strong point. It looks sleek and clean, and the RGB lighting gives it a really sharp appearance without being too much. It does have a bit of weight to it, but that just makes it feel solid and well built, like it is made to last. Overall, I am very happy with this keyboard. It delivers great performance, looks good, and offers excellent value for the price.

Not Good
I don't know what happened to Corsair, but their products are actual garbage. I got this keyboard after having had an old, cheap CoolerMaster keyboard that I got for like 20 bucks. That keyboard worked faithfully for 5 years, never had any issues with it. This keyboard, on the other hand, I have had for 1 year and have had literally nothing but trouble. The Corsair ICUE software (which is literally necessary for the keyboard to work) is garbage. Like actually awful. 50% of the time, it doesn't recognize that there is a Corsair product connected to the PC. Any lighting, key macros, literally any feature that you can customize doesn't work until a few days later it decides that there is, in fact, a Corsair keyboard connected to the pc. Additionally, just in terms of core functionality as a keyboard, it sucks. It will consistently double type letters, ex. press "a" once, and 3 "a's" will be typed. I have confirmed this is not a hardware issue whatsoever, I took off each individual keycap to thoroughly clean and make sure nothing could be causing it. The software had a "update" that fixed it. The catch? That literally only works when the stupid ICUE recognizes that the damn keyboard is plugged in. TLDR: They keyboard is ridiculously expensive, provides nothing better than my old 20 dollar keyboard, those functions that could be considered "improvements" (setting macros, lighting, anything else I'm forgetting) are nonexistent because the software, honestly more often than not, does not work. Typing feel is fine. Edit: ICUE software has been repaired/reinstalled twice, does not fix the issue. works for a day or two, then same thing

good keyboard
i bought this keyboard to replace a keyboard i broke trying to modify bc i didn't like how it came out of the box so i bought i keyboard i knew i wouldn't want to modify so far my favorite feature is the volume knob i never use the specialty button that's next to it personally i never found much use for it the large keys have minimal rattle so little it doesnt even matter this keyboard also sounds good and i like the software the wrist rest is nice even tho its hard plastic downsides when u lock your computer your rgb preset will go back to rainbow vomit wich i hate so i always dim the lights when i lock my pc second the keyboard freezes like the rgb stops moving and the volume knob stops working only fix i have found is unplugging and plugging the keyboard back in

Price/Quality Sweet Spot
Amazing keyboard and at half the price of the top end ones. I have a top end one too and this one is 95% as good as it is. Get it. You won't regret it.

Love!
Bought this as a quick replacement when the keyboard that came with my new PC stopped working 2 days in and the one I really wanted wouldn't come for another week. I was so skeptical that I would like this and thought I'd replace it ASAP. I'm in love. The keyboard is hyper-responsive, it's not as loud as I thought mechanical keyboards would be, it has that *perfect* keyboard click. And the RGB is *sick* and completely programmable. I haven't tried customizing it because I honestly love the default pattern - it blasts circles and does horizontal wipes etc without it feeling like you're at a rave. I thought the wrist rest was more cosmetic and that I wouldn't use it but I actually like it. A different review said they didn't get theirs - it's under the keyboard in a separate compartment and weighs practically nothing. If you don't dismantle the box it's easy to throw away - I almost did. Hopefully it lasts! Love it so far.

Great Keyboard!
Had to get used to the extra pressure needed to depress the keys. Coming from another manufacturer's mechanical it took a few uses to adjust. LED's are bright and adjustable through iCUE application. Matches my Corsair case and CPU cooler. Keyboard has an added volume control which is nice.

Surpised there isn't more bad reviews
The double types are the most annoying part about this keyboard. The second most annoying part is the software "iCUE". Honestly, if the software didn't randomly cut out or randomly uninstall itself while trying to do an update it would be a 4 star keyboard. The actual feel and build quality is good. Definitely within it's price range. The fact that you HAVE to have iCUE running or half the keys double type or sometimes triple type is this keyboards biggest setback. I don't really understand how the iCUE software can do a keyboard "firmware" update to fix the double typing but if the iCUE isn't running properly the keyboard double types like a maniac... or Michael J Fox... Wait what do you mean running properly you say? Ah yes, sometimes iCUE likes to randomly freeze and show it's task icon while doing f-all. You don't really understand what's going on until you have to constantly correct your typing. Furthermore, I've been constantly correcting the typing in tthis review witth iCUE running. For some reason the "T" button is exponentially worse than any other key that even tthe software/firmware cannot compensate for. As you can see above I've forgone removing my extra "T"s. It doesn't happen all the time, but the fact that it still does when it should be fixed is absurd.

Great keyboard!
Great keyboard, like the quieter slightly muted sound with the lubricated switches, and the palm rest is really comfortable. I find that the added volume/mute dial/button on the top right corner to be really functional, and I use it quite regularly. The corsair software I find to be a little bit buggy and sometimes it doesn't register that the device is connected, it works on reboot everytime.

very good
bought this mouse because i wanted a us layout in europe. works great and i love the keycaps i bought for it. you can set up the light in the app, i have it in a static white and where i have red keycaps its slowly switches from red to white. only bad thing i noticed is that a lot of dust gets stuck in the are between the arrow keys, numpad, enter - that area. could be a bit big for some setups, but its perfect for me
