The only downside is that it requires a bit more care than regular cookware — you can’t soak it in water for long or use harsh detergents. But if maintained properly, it’s definitely worth it for both functionality and presentation. Overall, a stylish and practical addition to the kitchen. I’d highly recommend it for anyone who loves natural wooden serveware.

Bowl with tight lid

What a shame. Poor design execution.
This wooden covered bowl could have been beautiful. The bowl was smooth and sanded nicely until someone decided to whitewash it. The cover was many degrees darker than the bowl. Instead of carving the company name on the bowl bottom, it was carved and painted black on the lid. The overall design thus became a cheap, ugly wooden lump without continunity for top and bottom. The Vesta Homes" logo became a cheap ad for the company. It most definitely should have be on the bowl bottom. Instead of displaying the covered bowl, It will be kept in a cupboard and used as container for potato chips.
