The box itself smelled like mold and when I opened the box the statue had mold all over it and smelled very bad. I know it is wood and not food but I am still throwing it away (not sure it is safe to give away). I do not recommend this product under any circumstances.

It’s very cute. Adding it to a shelf as an accessory. Good quality, wood is a really good color. It’s a nice piece to add.

I have ordered a second for gifts...like both -each are unique in color and wood variation but consistent in size and design. The craftsmanship is good for the cost...Solid feel..smooth finish..charming addition to bookcase or other decor. Packaged well...I would recommend.
