Samsung Microfilter DA2010CB External Fridge Water Filter

For £18 this filter is not the cheapest that I could find but it is certainly not the price of a manufactures original which is at least double the price. It arrived next day after ordering on Amazon and took 5 minutes to replace the old one which included a clean of the pipes whilst installing the new filter. Turn off the water to the fridge first and then be careful when taking off the tubes from the old filter as there is always water in the barrel which is bound to go on you if you are not careful. Once fitted I ran through about 4 litres of water which had a little air in it but after that it ran fine, clear and tasted good.

Absolutely perfect. My fridge came with a Samsung 1000 Gal filter and have subsequently found it hard to find identical replacements. All the other samsung branded ones bought on Amazon were the older 500 Gal filters which didn't fit the piping properly that came with the fridge. Went for this one as it seemed to be the OEM/original manufacturers version of the same filter and to my surprise it is the exact same one just without the samsung label. Fits the piping perfectly and the water quality is every bit as good as the original Samsung branded one that came with the fridge. Very happy and will order again.

These are a perfect replacement for our fridge freezer filter. Good instructions, easy to fit, good quality and great price. This is second one I have fitted with no problems. Arrived on time and good service.

I write this review giving it 5 star for more than prompt delivery and simple fitting as a result of my easy access bracket fitting (under sink) and design of product previously purchased (same), I will purchase again (as I have done). I cannot comment on the scientific output properties of the product output performance, but on on cutting the product in half to find only what I believe to be a carbon content, similar to the original filter supplied with the Beco (American style) fridge freezer purchased. May I suggest writing the fitting date of a new installation date of the product for historical reference and performance with reference to manufacturer recommendations.

The exact replacement for my fridge freezer

This is the third filter I’ve ordered. Just fitted this today and more than a tad disappointed (thought nothing of the lack of sticker on the filter). The two previous filters were great they did the job perfectly, but this filter has had zero effect! It tastes as bad as the tap water even producing the cloudy appearance of the tap water before it settles :/ seems like a very different product to the previous two not sure how?
