I've got this set and another one from a different company and this set is really useful. I was able to use this on my ring and pinion for my rear end and it worked great.

Because I was able to effortlessly remove a very difficult bearing from the wheel hub of my automobile, I was able to avoid having to take it in for repair.

Just a small amount of each corner of the wedges broke off since it's working very hard to move a bearing or race that is seated fully against a planer surface. I was still able to use the jaws (larger set) after dressing the corners with a grinder. On my project, I had to grind grooves in the bearing race in all 4 locations that the wedges contact it. This provided an undercut for the wedges to have a greater chance of getting a grip and worked nicely. WARNING: My method damages the old race or bearing.I will be keeping the set.
