Kenda Bicycle Rubber Rim Strips (Sold as Pair) (26x1.75, 20mm Wide)

Perfect size and fit for my rims. Easy to install and hopefully they will last a long time.

My super old rim was puncturing new inner tubes due to the rim strips no longer offering any protection from the heads of the spokes. Went on super easy and haven't lost a tube since, probably 300 miles since new.

Good for rim lining

I bought a “vintage” cruiser bike from 1994-ish that was completely original, save the handle grips. After a few rides the back tire developed a big gash and the tube was punctured. The tires didn’t appear dry rotted but perhaps there were cracks I couldn’t see. For safety’s sake, I decided to install brand new tires and tubes. This being my first time doing this, I didn’t know about the existence of rim strips until I removed the old tires and tubes. The over 30 year old rim strips looked to have seen better days and apparently were Kenda brand(as was the original tires and tubes). I was unsure how to order since a bare rim would be smaller without a tire on it. I went ahead and ordered the same as my tire size, which was 26”. I guessed on the width, which I converted 20mm to inches, which came out to roughly 3/4 inch, which seemed to match up to the original rim strip width. It fit perfectly and I went ahead and kept the original rim strip in place and put the new overtop as extra protection from the spokes. The strip seems pretty good quality and should do the job.

These fit perfect on my 26" rims. Delivery was fast.

Excellent. Easy to use and still holding air many months later. I had Kenda tires on a scooter and they were good so I thought I would try these for a bicycle.
