I’m very happy with this capture card. The video quality is excellent and it works perfectly for recording and streaming gameplay. Setup was easy and the device runs smoothly without lag. It supports high resolution and frame rates which is great for content creators. I use it for gaming videos and the results are very professional. Highly recommended for anyone who wants good quality recording or streaming.

I was surprised with its small size, which is a plus. The box works intuitively without the need for setup and you can get going in minutes. The RGB is in a rainbow pattern by default, but with a firmware update you can get from the company's website, I was immediately able to control the lights from the Windows interface itself without any extra software, which was incredibly convenient. It comes with an HDMI cable of good quality. The only lesser component in the package is the 3.5mm cable, which was picking up some static, but it's cheap to get a better one and once I swapped, it was giving me 100% clear sound. Recommended!

Swapped from Elgato 4k X to this and seems to be working smoothly. Easy plug and play

This is the first capture card to have the necessary 4k120 passthrough to allow for recording your XBox Series X/S or PS5 while playing games using both VRR and 120hz modes. The card also supports HDR recording though the format is P010(HDR) which is a format I was totally unfamiliar with and so it took em a while to actually capture videos without them looking washed out. The pros for this device is that it just works. OBS supported it without any issues though you need to make sure that your PC has a suitable USC C port available. The manual says that you need a USB C 3.2 port though I think mine is a 3.1 port and I had no issues with recording videos. Oddly while the USB C 3.1 port worked fine on my PC. The same type of port on a Mac did not allow me to use 4k60 recording. So your mileage may vary if you are using something lower than the recommended 3.2 port. The cons are that it was surprisingly difficult to find the Avermedia software to control the lighting on the device and adjust it's settings. Instead of downloading the version at the bottom of the product page you should in fact click the show more link and select the newest versions from there. Why Avermedia don't ensure the correct link is on the product page is a mystery. Overall this is a great product and I look forward to seeing if Elgato create a response to this. I am also looking forward to Avermedia updating their stand alone product (the one that records to sd cards directly) with the new HDMI 2.1 capability. I suspect I would happily get that version instead of this one if it had been available. Like many of you. I prefer to just play and record the footage without having to check a PC, set up OBS etc etc. Then transfer the data to something like Black Magick for editing and upload. Conclusion. Is this device worth the money. Yes with one exception. Currently there is zero support for ultra wide formats so if you happen to have an ultrawide display. Then steer clear until the promised support for such displays is actually available. Although Avermedia have promised they will support these displays. A promise if worth very little when your hard earned money is involved.

Genuinely so much easier to use than the Elgato HD60X. Had no end of issues with Elgato and this was practically plug and play

A good product and easy to use. Only problem I have experienced is that you have to toggle the HDMI protection on and off before it works.

I was so excited to play in 144 Hz, but this product is very very lacking. It will not under any circumstances output, a smooth video to either OBs or xsplit, avermedias own recorder and download software don't recognise it and i’ve run out of ideas to get this thing working. At 4k60 it’s fine, but i suspect it’s outputting 144hz to obs or is incapable of processing from 144 to 60 because the output is choppy as though dropping frames. Wasted a whole day trying to troubleshoot this thing and am considering returning it. I can’t find anyone else online with these issues so is it just me? Definitely not plug and play though.

Très bon boîtier qui permet d'avoir un pass-through de haute qualité pour les consoles récentes. Par contre attention il se branche en USB-C. Dommage que le branchement casque soit à l'arrière et que le volume soit un peu faible sans modification.

Anche se ha qualcosa in meno rispetto al live gamer ultra preferisco questo, almeno non ha la ventola di dissipazione che fa il macello notte e giorno, era sempre in funzione, questo invece è silenzioso e fa quello che deve fare

Para todos aquellos que jugáis en salón, con PS5, en mi caso la Pro, televisión Samsung S95F oled de 77", y sonido Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 mediante receptor, en mi caso Denon, ¡¡¡enhorabuena!!!. Ya podéis stremear a 4k/60 sin perder sonido multicanal. Huid de el Gato 4K X si tenéis esta configuración. La tuve 1 mes y es la reina del estéreo y de capar el audio por doquier. Te volverás loco con ella, omitiendo todo tipo de sonido. Además, prefiero la calidad de imagen y fluidez de esta Avermedia y las actualizaciones y plugins para OBS, permitiendo sonido multicanal. Y hay que decirlo, bonita es un rato, la gatuna es un pisapapeles negro. Señores de Avermedia, enhorabuena por este producto tan grato, y adelantado a su tiempo.
