Vaginal Contraceptive Film, Prevent Pregnancy, Spermicide Birth Control

For those of you that cannot be on any type of birth control due to medical reasons this is a fabulous alternative. I'm not allowed to get pregnant detrimental to my health, and birth control of every kind isn't compatible for my health at this point in my life after using it for 17yrs ...ugh! anyways my Dr. Gave me valuable info a cheat code, she said "don't have sex the week you are ovulating." All other days are fair game (well besides that one week...) but yeah so my period tracker is now vital information. I was browsing for thinner condoms and come across these. I for one excited I found them I buy two boxes at a time, I also use two of these films at a time because you can never be too careful. But these work for my lifestyle. I eat a THC gummy 1hr before, put 2 of these in wait 15min and I'm hot and ready like little Ceasars pizza.

I assume they work because I didn't get pregnant. Easy to use. Very quick.

You can barely tell these are even being used. These are my preferred contraceptive.

So far it works, there wasn't itch as some people said but it feels a little numb, Nothing crazy, but that's what we found

Not the best choice out there, but gets the job done. Opinions are definitely varied when it comes to comfortability, but on a personal basis it depends on chances, some days I would feel an intense burn down the pp hole while other days I felt nothing at all. Works tho (combining with pull-out method)

*UPDATE: it says to fold it (once) and drape it over your finger - tonight that didn’t go so well, it started to dissolve and was just stuck to my finger and wouldn’t come off. Finally I just removed my finger and threw away the film. I had much better luck FOLDING IT TWICE! I’m going to do that from now on. Ugh, it’s so gross all dissolved and just stuck to your finger.* After reading reviews I was worried bc people were talking about it dissolving too quickly. I made sure that I folded it then I had it almost draped over my finger tip as I inserted it. I also tried to work kind of quickly, knowing that it would begin to dissolve. I didn’t experience any burning - however, I use a menstrual disc so I’m used to having to sort of reach far up in there. I made sure that I got the film as high up as I physically could so maybe that’s why I didn’t experience any burning? I did insert it about an hour before sex - When you’re married and have kids, sometimes you never really know if it’ll happen or not. Lol that also being said, I think there could be times where the “wait 15min” could turn us off from these. We’ll see! So far, I’m a fan!

If you have any history of UTIs or sensitive "down there" bits, then PLEASE stay away from this product. I learned the hard way I'm seriously allergic to this. Currently icing my crotch and praying I don't have to go to the hospital 😭

Have been using them for 3 years. Wish I knew about them sooner. They work and we have had NO side effects! Especially because it’s hormone free, it stands out. Also highly effective and way better than the alternatives!!

Ich habe früher (bis 2016) sehr gerne diese Patentex Oval Verhütungszäpfchen benutzt. Leider wurden sie damals vom Markt genommen und ich stand vor einem relativ großen Problem: Es gab nichts Vergleichbares zur Verhütung. 2017 ließ ich mir aus dem Grund dann die Pille verschreiben, hatte jedoch ab 2019 dadurch Beschwerden bekommen und musste sie absetzen. Mein Mann und ich begannen darauf hin mit der Daisy (Thermometer) per Temperatur Messung zu verhüten. Allerdings beginnen nun die Wechseljahre bei mir und daher funktioniert dies auch nicht mehr. Da mein Mann Diabetes hat und dadurch sehr häufig Erektionsprobleme hat, kommen Kondome überhaupt nicht in Frage. Nun bin ich auf diese Verhütungsstreifen gestoßen, die den gleichen Wirkstoff haben, wie früher diese Patentex Oval Zäpfchen. Wir haben sie nun 2x benutzt und ich kann nichts negatives dazu sagen. Die Streifen sind einzeln verpackt und werden nach Bedarf entnommen und in die Scheide eingeführt. Leider haften diese Dinger am Finger.... Es ist fummelig bis diese Streifen da bleiben, wo sie hingehören. Aber wahrscheinlich entwickelt man dafür irgendwann eine gewisse "Übung" - jedenfalls muss man dann 15 Minuten warten, wenn der Streifen in der Scheide liegt (er löst sich auf und ist nicht zu spüren) und dann steht der Liebe nichts mehr im Wege. Für uns ist diese Verhütung ein Segen und ich bin dankbar, dass man es hier bestellen kann.
