This was a lovely project to work on after the holiday craziness. Pieces are sturdy and release easily from their boards. Instructions are illustrations so it works on perceptual skills. Recommendations are for 14+ or with adult supervision and I'd agree with that. Paper and paperboard folding needs a delicate balance of strength and finesse to keep from crushing the piece in your hands. There are some smaller steps that can be done with younger kids but overall it might be frustrating for them. The greenhouse came together with a number of trials and attempts to align pieces properly. Again, delicate balance of holding this side aligned while moving that side into place. Finally, decorating the garden house and lighting the chandelier was my favorite. I put pieces into place with the double sided tape so I can redecorate at a later time. This has found a spot on my bookcase year round and the nieces can admire when they visit. I'm now looking for a greenhouse attendant and kitty figurine to live in this place. This project ignited my interest in miniature projects. Looking forward to the next!

Love it!!! This is my first project of this kind. I changed some things up, but overall very satisfying! The worst part is the paper stuff and I gave up on a few plants and made my own.

I recently started getting interested in this type of craft, and am enjoying it immensely. This one was a bit disappointing, in that there was not much to cut out. I rather enjoy that step. I don’t find it tedious, I find it challenging. Also, I find the directions in one area backwards. When you are installing the left wall - reverse it to what it shows in the diagram. You need the perforated bendable edge in the front so that you can glue it to the inside of the front wall. Otherwise, you have two sharp wall edges that cannot be glued together, but rather, taped. With the bendable edge in the inside front, they glue together nicely. Also, I prefer the detailed side to be on the outside, and having it this way, makes that happen. It looks better that way to me. Photo attached. I really enjoyed this one, and was sorry when it was finished. But it is so cute! I leave it by my kitchen window so the sun can shine through it. The LED lights they include are a bit bright for me, so I wrap the bulb with a little piece of orange cellophane. I highly recommend, especially if you’re just starting out.

Item was as advertised. Instructions easy to follow. Looks awesome when finished. It was shipped quickly and arrived safely.

Too much fun with small pieces to complete an awesome project

This kit is not worth the price, even on sale! The pieces that are 'wood' are so flimsy they break with any pressure put on them. Items that are shown on shelves or on front of flower pots in the photo are all paper and must me glued with the tube of white glue provided. The flower buds and greenery shown all require to be glued on with the same white glue...HA! That doesn't even begin to hold them. Had to break out the E6000 and ended up covered in glue because everything is so tiny. Even the flower cart is made of cardstock! This is not my first miniature kit but it will definitely be the last one I purchase from this company. All I ended up with is a sack of trash (after hours of creating the small plants) because all the window pieces broke and the PAPER covered walls tore when I was trying to install the shutters. Frustrated doesn't begin to describe my feelings with this kit. The directions did little to help with any construction. Very few words were used- only pictures. Such a disappointment!
