The 30 lb propane tanks are a nice size lasting quite a bit longer than the most common size tanks but are about as big as I could handle.

This is the way to go. If you need to replace your outdated tanks. Then buy this one with the level gauge.

I bought four of these with the gauge already installed. They will be used when power is out to run a generator. The tanks arrived undamaged and they were filled without incident. So me people have described issues of damage or operation - these four arrived in perfect condition and have been through one filling process. They look to be well-made, value for the money is up to the buyer (I liked having the gauge, so used tanks well out) and the size makes it easy for me to use them for the intended purpose.

Tank works great, but no need to buy the gauge they don’t work at all.used 1 tank and worked once, other tank gauge never worked. 100% dog s$&@.. save the money and just buy the tank alone. Works great just like any other propane tank

This is a really nice and well built tank and I love the gauge! Propane man filled it up with no problem and the gauge immediately registered full green as it should. I installed it for my elderly neighbor and it made her day! Until now she was always worried she would run out of propane during the night without knowing but the gauge solves that problem!
