Women's Red Riding Hood Costume, Adult Halloween Fashion

I’m so glad I didn’t talk myself out of buying this costume. Price threw me off for a bit, but I got it anyway.. and it was worth it. I wore this last Halloween to a friend’s Halloween party and let me tell you, the compliments were in surplus. It looks absolutely gorgeous in person. The material is sort of silky, which I don’t mind, but bear in mind you have to properly iron both the cape and dress when you first receive it, due to wrinkles. The red is just the same shade as what was shown online. I’m 5’7 and a size 0-2, I got the smallest size and it fits just fine, not overly tight and not oddly loose it any areas. At my height, I would say it’s rather short, I don’t mind but, this is something to keep in mind if you don’t like short dresses. The cape is really long, on my height (5’7) with a 2-3 inch heel, it was barely touching the ground. The corset style middle can be tightened with the ropes, for a more clinched look. There’s a zipper in the back, which makes it easy to take off and slip on this dress. This did not come with any strange smell or tear or stain. This also does not come with the socks or basket, just the dress and cape. I just used the mini rattan basket and thigh high socks I already had (also got from Amazon). It was honestly difficult to keep this cape stable on my shoulders and head, so I used the fashion tape trick to secure it to my shoulders and keep it from slipping off. I used a hair pin to secure the hood to my head. Also used a fashion tape to hold up my socks. Non of this is necessary, this was just how I wanted my look to be. Really fits pretty in this costume and definitely wear it again this year✨

Body image for reference, didn’t take a pic with costume on but when I read reviews there was no mediums with pics so I wanted to show for those who were confused like me- this is my body type- I’m about 190 pounds currently and 5 feet 7 inches, I’m a medium in tops and a 34 c and a 10/12 in bottoms and the medium was perfect. I think if you have larger breasts size up! But it was not too short and was very flattering! Medium was perfect for me!! Costume is extremely good quality and I would absolutely recommend it

The size chart is a bit confusing because of the waist measurement & the corset measurement. I bought an XL and my waist measurement is an inch larger than the waist range but smaller than the corset range. The costume fits and is stretchy in the waist. I also have a rather large chest and it actually fits there too and covers a bra! That is so hard to find! The length of the skirt is good- it's not something I would probably bend over in without shorts or something underneath, but for a halloween costume, it's a good length. Plus, the cape covers the back when you wear it. You don't need a petticoat underneath (it will just make it look like you have an extremely large bum when the cape flows over the puffy skirt). At 5'-4" tall, the cape is the perfect length, I think. If you're shorter, I think heels would fix any problems. I am planning to pair mine with some knee high black boots I have and it looks awesome. It does a good job, in my opinion, of staying on the line between childish and showing way too much skin. This is about the level of quality I'd expect from a costume in this price range, but I'm not worried about it falling apart just putting it on. The zipper is a little difficult and there's no lining or anything to the skirt but it is a great choice for the price and ease of not having to make a costume yourself. I have no doubt that once I de-wrinkle the cape in the dryer with a damp towel, this will be a hit at the Halloween party I'll be attending.

Loved it! The white frill on cups are easy to pull out just like others have pictured but don’t pull them and it’s worth it! I feel the torso part was a little long for me as I’m barely 5’3. Pictures are with it tucked a bit under my breasts but I still love and was comfortable all night.

Omg omg omg! I am in love with this costume! I was skeptical at first that it wouldn’t fit being my upper body is bigger and it’s a zipped up corset. But it fits PERFECT! The back is sooooo stretchy but the front is the right material to give it that “corsety tight” look. The material is not cheaply made at all! Even the cape is very heavy duty. I ordered this for my Halloween birthday party I’m having on the 28th next month and I am super excited to put my full look together! I usually don’t write reviews on Amazon but I HAD TO for this purchase! Like seriously, I had it in my cart for a couple weeks and my intuition told me to get this and it was everything I was imagining! It makes me look soooo good (I’m roughly 223 for weight in case anyone was wondering and I got a XL) only thing slightly con about this, I can say is that my boobs are too big for the cups but I just loosened the straps because their adjustable and kinda set them up on top of the cuffs so it gives it that sexy look . Regardless this is worth the $50!!!!!

PROS: LOVED this costume, and so did everyone else!! I was worried about what size to get, but the Large fit perfectly. I'm 5'7, and 167 pounds (i carry most of my weight in my torso if that helps anyone decide, i saw some women the same size and height, but they carried their weight evenly, so a medium worked perfect for them). The costume is comfortable, it was stretchy in the abdomen so it wasn't irritating or tight in all the wrong areas. The cape came wrinkled, just throw it in the dryer with a damp rag for 20 mins and it'll be good. The costume doesn't come with tights in case you're not aware. I also bought an under garmet to make the skirt part look more floofy. (Semi)CONS: The cup size situation was undesirable, they are shaped closer together, so my breasts didn't fit well in the costume without a bra (it has wire and ultimately you wouldn't need a bra for this costume), but with a bra is worked out just fine.

It fits nice, it doesn’t come with the cape but it says it does so that’s kind of weird

Beautifully costume. I absolutely love it!!! The details are absolutely exquisite. It is made out of good quality fabric. It doesn't look cheap at all. There are 3 layers on the skirt of thr dress that gives it that perfect amount of flounce so it does not lay flat. It's short, flirty and very sexy. There are beautiful gold sequins on the pretty corset type top part of the dress which has the perfect amount of little white frills and gold trim. It has adjustable bra type straps so that it can be worn comfortably. My only complaint is that the cups on the dress needs to be a little bigger for busty women such as myself. The gorgeous red hooded cape is long and covers my entire body when drawn close. I am 5'5. In 5inch high heeled boots it is the perfect length. It is a vibrant scarlet/crimson red that is light and has a satin like finish. I paired this with elbow length black satin gloves, fishnet stockings and knee high rhinestone high heeled boots and it was a total hit. It looked expensive and amazingly sexy. My husband was very impressed as was I. Get it! It's worth every penny.
