Browning Camping Kodiak Chair , 38 x 20 x 38 Inches

This is one of the best and most sturdy camping chairs I have bought in a while. Not to mention the insulated cooler in the arm! Its very comfy to sit in and very big. I have a particular taste in camping chairs because I have had a few in the past that I just don't like. Either because they are too small, or uncomfortable, or to easy to break, or all of the above. But this chair satisfies all of those needs! I really love the cooler in the arm. because it will definitely serve you well on those camping trips to some warmer climates! The seat is comfortable and doesn't have any bars getting in the way of sitting comfortably. But you definitely don't want to take this somewhere where you will be cold. Because there is mesh on the back of the seat. So if you're somewhere where its going to be blowing cold air, be sure to bundle up on your bottom side. Its a big chair for me (i'm 6'2" and 215 pounds), which is great! But the one thing that I must say is it is heavy! So its not really a backpacking, or hiking chair. I don't really know how heavy it is, but it is a tad on the bulky side for me. So I wouldn't really take this chair somewhere where you are going to hike into your campsite for some distance. But its an all around nice chair. And not to mention how durable it is. I have heard that some other people have a problem with it breaking. But I really haven't had that problem. I use it all the time and it does everything I want it to! So if you're looking for a good chair that you don't mind working out a bit to carry then this is for you! Not to mention how EPIC it is that its Browning branded.

I love it! I know this chair is more so made for bigger people and i am 5’ 3” 140lbs so I wasn’t sure if it would be overly large for me but it’s not. Definitely roomy and super sturdy. I think people of all sizes will be comfortable in this chair. I was also afraid of the mesh being easily torn but its actually very thick and durable. The chair isn’t overly supportive but it definitely doesn’t sag as much as similar chairs do. Highly recommend it.

I can highly review this chair as a solid chair that is rated for 800 pounds. It does fold up nicely when a great strap for carrying to your outdoor activities. But the quality of the chair is completely revealed when you unfold it. It is solid. When you sit in it, nothing moves or shifts around. And you can use the arms to lift yourself out of the chair with no fear of it collapsing. Sturdy and well made. I believe this chair will hold up for many years and gives an excellent (and hard to find) option for larger sized adults or for those just looking for a better quality built chair.

I am up in the years and love to go to my grandkids sporting events. I finally found a heavy duty built folding chair that not only is very comfortable but looks good to boot! THIS IS A GREAT CHAIR!! The price is not too bad as you get what you pay for most of the time! I would recommend this to anyone who wants comfort with durability!! Its a bit heavy but hey, heavy usually means solid built and this chair is just that!

i am 6'1" and weigh about 425 lbs. this chair fits me pretty great. the chair i had before this one was the coleman maxx camping chair i'd picked up at wal - mart. in all fairness, it was pretty nice too and lasted a few years, but got left outside regularly and eventually rotted out. my local wal-mart no longer carried that chair so i found this one on my quest for a new chair. this chair sits higher up and feels a bit more solid. the mesh back and bottom are very nice for hot days and definitely a plus over the coleman chair. overall, i'm impressed with this chair, and all my bigger friends like it too. that being said, we came the the conclusion that i got this chair on sale for about $50, i'm not sure what it normally goes for, but the coleman maxx chair was only about $35 when i bought it, so unless you exceed the weight limit of 400lbs on the coleman maxx chair, i'd say you'd be equally happy with it and save a few bucks.

I am a big guy, and I have been looking for a chair I can sit in without destroying it. This chair is just right for that! I feel completely supported. I have no fear of this chair breaking.This chair has a lot of pockets, one on the headrest, two on each arm and the two beer/soda can holders on each arm is a plus. This chair also allows you to breathe through the mesh seat and back. Which is very helpful on hot summer days!There are some cons to this chair however.1.) You tend to sink a bit into the seat portion of this chair which makes it difficult to get out of. Especially after a few beers.2.) If you're sitting for an extended period of time, you can feel a bit sore where your legs meet the chair lip.I corrected this issue by adding cushioning under my legs.3.) These chairs are not light to carry around. But they go just about everywhere with us when we camp, beach, etc. We bring a wagon everywhere to solve the weight issue.UPDATE! 10 years later, this chair still holds strong. Would definitely buy again.

I have had quite a few different camping chairs over the years, but this one takes the trophy. I'm a pretty large man 6'0", 275 and fit I might add. Every time I go to order these type of chairs, I always worry about the max load. This chair is rated at 800lbs and let me say not only does it look like it, it definitely feels like it. This chair is very well made and also most importantly very comfortable. I use these chairs for watching my daughters play sports and to hunt out of. That means spending hours on hours sitting. This chair is the answer. I just got it the other day and after testing it out, I've already ordered another. At first l thought the price was a little high but after I received it, that thought went out the door. Thank you Amazon.
