Love the net would buy again .
I got the 10foot 1/4.. opens properly when you throw it. Sinks fast to catch the bait. But if you're a newbie I would recommend getting a five to six footer to start off with but yes I definitely recommend this night the quality of it is nice I like whatever it's made out of it's nice and soft and if you want to make it softer you can always put it in a 5 gallon bucket of water with dish soap which will soften it up leave that in there overnight. Definitely catching your own bait is the way to go I haven't bought bait and over 20 years and you can definitely catch everything with it of course shrimp mullet spot bunker. everything that lives out in the ocean / bay pretty much

Better than what walmarts selling
First off, this is wifes account. Now on to the review. Have owned many cast nets in my 40 years. I have eyes to actually use this one because I purchased early in the year and it's still quite cold. Does appear to be made well as I did inspect it upon receiving. Knots look good, net is not stiff, horn feels sturdy only complaint would be that it feels a little light for its size. If they added a little extra weight I truly think this would be an excellent net. I bought the 6ft with 1/4" mesh

Great Cast Net – Caught Plenty!
Tried out my new Drawsy Salt Water Cast Net this weekend and was really impressed. The net opens up wide and sinks fast, which made it easy to pull in bait. First few throws I landed a bunch of finger mullet and some shrimp, and later even pulled in a couple of small menhaden. The weight feels balanced, and the material is sturdy enough to handle saltwater use without tangling. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a reliable net that actually delivers results!

It works
Updated:: Bought 10ft radius, true 20ft open. Netting is not very durable -Packaged in nice square bucket with lid, but handle won't attach unless drill holes bigger. -Net is packed in a way it can't be used directly from bucket, stiff and wadded up. -Soaked in 5gal bucket with fabric softener for 2 days. Hung in shop for a day to dry and straighten out. -Net is fairly lightweight for it's size but good for repeat throws and throws further than expected. Don't know about sink rate yet. -Practiced in my grass lawn for about 15 minutes and a fairly large tear appeared. Sewn it up...sucks every time. I'll update after casting for bait out on boat. Update: been using it for a year now. No new tears or holes. It's actually a bit bigger than prefer for continuous cast. Sinks fairly quick, 6ft few seconds. Rope is too long for my need, bait or mullet close quarters. It's quality, big, heavy and fully opens for me 85% of the time.

Good quality beginner net
My son wanted to try bait fishing with a casting net and had never done it before. This was a fair priced, quality net that was easy for him to learn with. It came with its own sturdy storage bucket. It worked well being thrown off the pier and we appreciated the secure wrist strap. The rope length could’ve been a little longer but again we were using it from the Folly pier. I’d recommend it!

Producto usado.
