About 50 inches. I wouldn't cut it though, 8 It has a metal thing on the end and if that is gone the belt frays

One size means what, exactly?

It just means that the belt as sold is the maximum length and you can cut the web belt to your size if it is a little long. I am a 34" waist and I cut off about 6". (from the belt :-))

What is the length of these belts?

They come in a standard length and you cut them to your size. I wear a 37" belt and I cut off a couple of inches - so I am going to say the belt comes at about 42" .
