I was looking for something to stop my oldest from slamming the doors on her little sister & these work perfectly. I didn’t want something that I had to take on & off though, like the traditional foam ones because knowing me I would lose it or my kids would get a hold of it & ruin it. I love that I can just turn it when my kids are taking a nap or going down for the night & close the door.

My daughter really loved watching Lilo & Stitch and it was great until she started copying behaviors she saw. One of them being slamming the door. Well after a week of slamming and stressing out about her slamming the door on her little sisters fingers I decided to do something about it! I bought this and installed it, super easy installation by the way, and it immediately corrected the behavior. She was confused at first because the slamming noise didn’t follow after she would “slam” the door. I’m assuming the lack of satisfaction and noise took away the excitement, either way, she stopped doing it and we can finally enjoy our days without the sound of doors slamming against the door frame.

Works good

It works, but the hand design is not efficient. Most of the real estate is not used when the door is closed (such as the little fingers). It’s fun to look at but probably could be smaller and more sleek looking yet still functional. The hand design makes the house look a little silly.

Great way to protect young fingers while also having the convenience of ensuring you can close the door.

Great for my classroom door! This way I can keep my door locked and shut it easily when needed, but also hold it open for easy entry!

Used them to prevent tiny fingers from being slammed in the door. Works perfectly, on bedroom doors.

We use ours so that our door can be open just enough for the cats to get in. If we need the door fully closed, you can swing the hand out of the way.

This is my second purchase now as they are so good I decided to attach to some other doors. Easy installation. I like that you can twist them around so that the door can be fully closed when required. They are also pretty thick in depth so would stop the door well before hitting your little ones fingers. (Note these won't stop fingers getting trapped at the hinge side of the door)

No more slammed doors and pinched fingers. My demon children who love to have slam door wars have finally met their match. Best of all is I can just rotate them up at bedtime when I “put them to bed” (by which I mean I trap them in their rooms with the promise of a human sacrifice). 5 stars, highly recommend!

Super surprised how well this door stop is working. I have it attached to a very heavy and secure door at my work and the door is used frequently all 7 days a week. Didn’t even need to screw it into the door. The adhesive has been strong enough to last over a month now. Strongly recommend.

We bought these for our daycare so fingers could get pinched in the washroom door when children are going in and out and they've worked great. Love that they turn so you can still latch the door and they are still sticking well after a a few week.
