I only needed one to replace one tuning gear on a guitar that I use in my classroom that got broken. Very easy to replace and matched the others and works great.

Good and cheap. I was surprised for the money. The threaded members that go over the string peg shafts tighten to a fairly narrow range (.680"-.500" 17.27mm-12.7mm.) They should work on most standard guitars, but check your head-stock thickness to make sure. Nothing fancy but the build quality is not too bad, not the high end tuners I put on my Les Paul, but this was an experiment (a conversion of a classical to a 10 string) and I was just out of the proof of concept for the project, these fit the budget considering.

My son has a fishbone kids guitar and popped the peg off somehow. I've never had to replace a tuning peg before, but for a guitar like that I was willing to jump in. I was able to take the old one off and slap one of these bad boys on in a matter of minutes. Others have mentioned tuning life, I haven't had it on that long to know. I'm not expecting top of the line for this price point. I just wanted to get him up and running again and that's what this did. I could immediately tell they were better quality than what I took off though. There were no scratches or anything either as others mentioned. This is a great price point for a quick replacement on lower end guitars.

Installed them in 10 minutes after i tightened the tiny little screw on the side of each peg. Since getting my strings worn in and playing approx. 4-5 hrs in 2 days, it has had the g slip just slightly. Aesthetically they are pretty basic, but I really do like the white dots on the back of them. I'll definitely remember these if myself or someone I know is looking for a solid-working budget part.
