I got this pillow because I had neck pain and it got worst with this pillow. 1. you can only put your head in the center of the pillow to have a sense of comfort, but then, if you have by 1 millimetre , you will start feeling discomfort 2. I am not sure if this is proper memory foam, as the pillow stays in exactly the same shape, and feels so hard

My chiropractor introduced me to this modern version of the cervical pillow because I was getting tension headaches caused by neck stiffness. She said that because I have a short neck, who knew, that this type of pillow would be better for me than the traditional cervical one. Overnight, my headaches went away. Keep in mind that I was 100% certain that the headaches were caused by the position of my neck while sleeping, nothing more serious. I find that the best position for me is on my back, but I can also stay on my sides for some time without experiencing a headache. Also, note that there is a piece of foam inside the pillow that you can remove to make the dip even shallower. I did that, and it seems to be the best position for my neck. I ordered the King, but was surprised to see that it is not a standard-size king pillow. It's much shorter, so measure before you buy. Overall a great pillow with removable cover for washing.

Quality product, with alot of versatility. Side sleeping, and back sleeping-- perfect for me. This size fits better than my other memory foam pillow which would bug me by forcing head into a channel for back sleeping. This pillow is very good, no neck pain and helps with sciatica to be able to switch sleep positions without flipping pillow. Very pleased.

I sleep on my back sometimes, and sometimes on my side. I was waking up with a stiff neck, so time for a new pillow. After research (how many listings does Amazon have for pillows?), I ordered this in the Queen size. After the first night, my neck and shoulders didn't hurt. Really. After about a week, the pillow did seem a little stiff for side sleeping. The pillow has a small, removable oval of foam on the back side, which I removed according to instructions that came with it. The neck support was softer after that, and I am very pleased with the pillow. There is a travel size that is intriguing (avoid huge, hard hotel pillows). It might be suitable if you had the luggage space, but not for traveling with a backpack or carry-on. Anyway. This pillow has made my sleep better and I'd buy it again.

I'm 5'0" and my neck arch is shorter than most. So this doesn't give the good posture on my neck when I lay on my back that it should. But the side sleeping was perfect. So I tried the standard size. The neck lying on my back was great, but did sleeping was not high enough for support needed. I contacted the seller. They immediately got back and said they were out of the add-on support fillers, but would let me know as soon as they had the supply to ship. Next thing I know it's in the mail. Excellent communication and support from seller. It turned out the standard with the filler was too high for back lying for me, and I've gotten used to the queen size I got. I've had cervical spine surgery, and it made my neck muscles very sensitive and much weaker than they used to be. I can't believe the difference in how I sleep. Even without the chin-lifting support it should be when I lie on my back, it's still so comfortable, and the side sleeping is perfect. My neck is no longer the problem when I sleep. I love this pillow. And although the standard with the filler doesn't work for me I'm not returning it. I need to find someone I know that it will work for, because this pillow is that good.

I was in a car accident when I was 14 they gave me really bad whiplash and has had me searching for pillows ever cents that make my neck feel better. I am so glad I found this pillow. After trying so many different kinds of specially specialty pillows I finally found one that is so comfortable I don’t have to adjust it at all to get the sleep that I need. I normally sleep on my side but I have slept on my stomach and on my back with this pillow and it is so comfortable either way. I love it it’s adjustable in case I want it to be lower but I like having it up higher. The way it is shaped somehow just keeps my shoulders in place so that my arm doesn’t raise up under my head in the night. It angles down in the back so that my neck is laying straight rather than angling up in the back and giving me a crooked neck. It’s soft but firm enough to hold the shape you need for this kind of support. I honestly want to get another one to keep at my parents house when I visit. If you struggle with neck pain do yourself a favor and give this pillow a try. I do not regret it at all
