I downloaded the Furbo app, plugged in the camera, and followed the on-screen instructions to connect it to my home Wi-Fi. The entire process took less than five minutes. The unit itself is sleek, modern, and sturdy. It doesn't look like a clunky piece of security tech; it blends right into my living room decor. The base is wide and heavy enough that my cat has (so far) shown no ability or interest in knocking it over. The treat-loading mechanism is simple, and I love the natural bamboo lid, which feels secure and "pet safe"—no easy-to-chew plastic bits. Section 2: The Hardware (What You Get Out of the Box) The core features of the camera itself are fantastic, even without the subscription. The 360° View: This is the absolute game-changer. Through the app, I can swipe to pan the camera a full 360 degrees. But the real magic is the auto-tracking. When the camera sees my cat move, it automatically follows him. I no longer lose him as he walks from the couch to his food bowl. I can see everything. Video & Audio Quality: The 1080p HD video is crystal clear during the day. Here’s what made it an easy decision for me: Proactive, Specific Alerts: This isn't just a generic "motion detected" alert that my old security cam gave me for every dust bunny. Furbo Nanny gives me alerts I actually care about: Cat Activity Alert: I get a push notification specifically when my cat is running, playing, or jumping on furniture. I can quickly check in, see he's just being a cat, and go back to my work. Meowing Alert: This is my most-used feature. The Furbo detects the sound of meowing and alerts me. I can then open the app, see if he's just saying hello or seems distressed, and use the two-way audio to talk to him and calm him down. It has been a miracle for my "is he okay?" anxiety. Person Alert (Home Security): This is the "Home Security" feature. The camera can tell the difference between a pet and a person. I get a specific "Person Detected" alert, which is invaluable. I know exactly when the cat sitter arrives or, more importantly, if someone who isn't supposed to be there enters my apartment. Cloud Recording & "Kitty Diary": The Nanny service records these "events" (meowing, activity, people) and saves them to the cloud. My favorite part is the "Doggie/Kitty Diary." At the end of the day, the app creates a 60-second highlight reel of my cat's activities, set to cheerful music. It's beyond charming and saves me from having to scrub through hours of footage to find the cute moments. Section 4: The Verdict: True Peace of Mind The Furbo 360° Cat Camera is a premium product, and the subscription is an added cost. However, the value it provides is immense. I am no longer a high-anxiety cat parent. When I'm in a long meeting and my phone buzzes, I see a "Cat Activity" alert, open the app, watch my cat bat his favorite toy, toss him a treat, and close the app with a smile. I love Furbo. I’ve had the camera for a little over a year now. It lets me check in on my pet and also monitors the home when I’m at work. The only thing I don’t like is how often it looses connection to the internet, but that may be my service provider and not the product. It is really easy to reconnect to the internet and often reconnects itself.

This camera was an easy buy. It records day and night, gives updates throughout the day as well as live feed without worry, follows your pet as they move, allows you to talk to your pet and send them treats, and is sooo easy to set up and use on your phone. Would recommend 10/10!

I bought these to keep an eye on my dog when I'm at work. It literally took me less than 5 minutes to set up. I love that it allows you to throw treats while you're away. I opted for the subscription to the app (which is needed if you like to set up more than one camera), and it's incredibly easy to use. I can talk to my dog, move the camera, and throw her treats even when I'm away. The camera does have motion detection and moves along with my dog with I appreciate because sometimes my hands are full and I can't manually move the camera myself. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the quality of the app. While it's a good app, I can only describe the picture quality as "good enough". While the color of the picture is relatively accurate, there is a lag in the video. There are times when I have to wait a moment for it to catch up to live footage, and even then, the live footage does lag slightly. When it comes down to it, I love it and even though it's "perfect", the price and fuctionality aligns with what I was looking for.

This is such a great little camera for your pets. They love the treat tosser and so love that I can keep an eye on them. Video quality is very nice and the app is easy to use. Peace of mind in a nice and compact camera.

The Furbo 360° Dog Camera is amazing—especially if you have a puppy, multiple dogs, or just want to spy on your pets while pretending it’s “for their safety.” The camera quality is great, the rotation is smooth, and being able to check in from my phone is incredibly reassuring. The treat toss feature is fun and actually useful… with one very important warning: do not introduce this thing with treats and the lullaby music. I repeat—do not. I made that mistake, and my five year old toy poodle spent an entire week doing nothing but staring at the camera like it was a magical vending machine that might sing and spit snacks at any moment. He stopped living his life. He waited. The lullaby paired with the bark alert that automatically launches treats? Powerful. Too powerful. We had to do an adjustment period to break the emotional attachment that formed between my dog and this camera. That said, once we recalibrated and used the features more intentionally, it became an excellent tool. It’s great for monitoring, rewarding when needed, and keeping an eye on your dogs without actually being home. Just be mindful with the lullaby and auto-treat settings unless you want a dog who believes the camera is in charge now. Bottom line: fantastic product, very smart, very effective. Just know that with great power comes great responsibility—and possibly a poodle who worships technology.

While Furbo is very good at spotting humans, it’s rather rubbish at spotting cats. I have a small apartment, the whole thing apart from the bedroom and bathroom can be seen on the screen. Yet the camera only reports my cat “walking” or “sleeping on the sofa” when they are directly in front of it. My cats are rather vocal, they frequently demanded attention, they got mine but Furbo did not pick up on any of it. Same as for destroying the sofa, when they sleep on it I get a report, but when my little interior designer decides to remodel Furbo turns a blind eye. The camera is supposed to follow your pet when it walks by, but this only works 50% of the time. As for the software, I have yet to find the language settings (this might be a me-issue) but for some reason I get a rather crappy mix of French and English. The only truely positive thing I can say is that the nightvision works great.
