Sturdy and affordable.
These stands are very nice for the money. The tolerances are not super tight and it us important that you face the four pillars correctly in order to accommodate the tolerances and get the top plate aligned with the bottom plate. If you expect everything to just go together, you will be disappointed. Spend a little time playing with the orientation of the uprights, and everything should go together fine. These probably hold more weight than they claim, but the tolerances are looser than a 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass, so just work with it.

Great speaker stands!
Iโm not sure of the negative review. These are the strongest stands I have seen. The 4 steel columns are sturdy and should hold most speakers. I have the 28โ stands and they are rock solid holding my heavy B&Ws. The build quality finish are excellent and easy to assemble. Highly recommended! ๐๐

Not stable enough for heavy speakers
I believed the over-inflated weight rating of 120lbs, thought they'd be rock-solid for my 50lb. large "bookshelf" speakers. But that was not the case. With a bit of pressure, I could see deflection as the columns swayed side to side. It may have been caused by flex in the the bottom plate. I thought I'd found a bang-for-buck alternative to Sound Anchor, Target or other $600 stands. Unfortunately, it appears that this is a case of getting what you pay for.
