Work Great, Minimal Flavor Impact
Love these and will be ordering more when they run out. They do not dampen the profiles of most tobaccos. Occasionally there will be a delicate blend that is blunted by the filters, but overall they are a great addition to my hobby. Can you call pipe smoking a hobby?

Near perfect
These fit all 6mm Savinellis as well as some other pipes. The draw through them is noticeably tighter but still good. They do not affect the taste of the tobacco and do a great job filtering out the tars and resins. I would recommend replacing the filter after two uses. My only “ding” against them is that they are pricey.

Fits My Savinelli Pipe Perfectly
My wife got me a Savinelli pipe for my birthday about a year into our marriage and up until recently I had been using triangular wood cuttings as a filter but these work so much better. They're compact and will hold up over time and when it's time to swap filters, they're easy to change. For those who don't know, one of the purposes of using a filter in a tobacco pipe is to block steam from hitting your tongue directly while sucking smoke through the stem. You don't want to burn your tongue, and a filter can help keep that from getting in the way of enjoying the flavor of the tobacco. These filters aren't a "one size fits all" product, so you'll want to measure the slot in your pipe stem before ordering to make sure you're getting the right fit.

Works as advertised
Tin is a nice touch. I’ve found that Savinelli and Peterson filters are usually more consistent than a White elephant brand for example

Still a great filter
Purchased these for my two 6mm MM cobs (Country Gent, Legend). The Savinalli 6mm does **NOT** fit. The filter gets tight right from insertion. Now with a little patience and an hour or so, you can grab a 6mm drill and make the hole in the cob and the stem just a hair bigger. Other than having to modify the cobs to accept these, they are still a great filter.
