More tracks. Actual levers to switch the tracks. Sounds are excellent, though you can't turn them off. Smoke machine works; bottle for smoke is proper size and easy to use (was too small on other train sets).* *Go slowly with refill bottle when adding to the engine, it comes out quickly. Passenger cars light up, which makes for fantastic low-light effects around Christmas tree, or just in your local hobby/craft town. My only question: why is there no remote for this set? Power button is on the train engine itself. This functions fine, may just be a matter of preference for folks. I recommend the toy maker offer a model WITH remote, charge consumer extra, make it an option/add-on. Overall, very pleased. My 6yr old (mentally 9) absolutely loves it.

Good purchase

Train was very good, track was OK, but it would be a little better if the track was metal. Lights and smoke really work, pretty neat overall. I ran it on carpet and it would fall off the track. On the hardwood floors it did fine.

My kids love this train set. We set it up at Christmas as well. It is well made.

I’m having problems with staying on the track. It just will not stay on the track and when it’s time to switch tracks, I’m having a problem with that fall off the track so no I’m not really happy with it. It looks nice. It feels real and my back cars, they don’t light up

Tedious to assemble, and tracks bend easily if not put away carefully and train doesn’t stay on track very well. My son is 6 with normal small motor skills and I have to assemble. If you want this for a display or have infinite time and patience to devote, then it would be ok. I do not recommend for the average family play toy.

This toy train is amazing! It has realistic train sounds, emits steam, and runs very smoothly. The carriages have lights and great details, making it even more enjoyable. The only downside is that the track is unique and not compatible with other train tracks.

My 3 year old son loves the train toy so much. Well built and runs smoothly. While the toy isn’t exactly same as the picture shown in Amazon, I am ok for the style.

Train was a hugggge hit at Christmas but not easy to put the track together and the train falls off repeatedly on the one corner because the tracks don’t seem to connect great sometimes. The steam engine on this train is amazing! Very Realistic! We will love this every Christmas!
