What would be a suitable starting age to use this guitar?

Dear Tania, This guitar is a real acoustic instrument and it is around 31” (78cm) long, we recommend to use this guitar from 5 years old. Have fun with Anna and Elsa from the movie “Frozen”! Best regards, Lexibook team

Is this a toy guiter?

Dear customer, The Disney Frozen Elsa guitar is a real accoustic guitar. Thanks to the tutorial and guitar straps included you can easily learn how to play guitar. Thank you, Regards, Lexibook.

What makes this a girls guitar? Surely a boy could also play it...

Boys could play it but as someone who writes and illustrates children’s books, I know that girls, will watch or read anything regardless of who is the lead character but boys will only read and watch, books and films with a male lead. Disney tried to address this when they made Brave but it had limited success with boys. So yes he could play it but it’s very unlikely that he will. I’m sure there are similar ones more suitable for boys. I think I’ve seen a turtle one.

The neck is made out of pine wood. What is the body made out of? Plastic or wood? If wood, what kind of wood?

Dear customer, The Frozen acoustic guitar is entirely composed of pine wood. Thank you, Regards, Lexibook.
