Details are fantastic
The board is very cool, but wish it was foldable for pieces storage n transport. The pieces are Smaller than I was expecting but the details are phenomenal. I absolutely enjoy playing with this set and look forward to many years of use with it.

Best Amazon Purchase Ever!
I spent three months searching for the perfect chess set for my husband. I am so glad I purchased this set! Beautiful craftsmanship, perfect size, quality, great color, and more. I am so thankful to have made this purchase. It is going to be the best gift ever. Worth mentioning- this is the first time I have taken time to review an Amazon purchase. It was just that great!

Wouldn’t recommend.
This was less quality than I expected. For the price there is no storage and the pieces are plastic. Very disappointed.

Very nice chess pieces!
Wrote an earlier review (see below) & when I saw it in print decided it was much too harsh & needed an update: I actually love the detail put into the chess pieces & their colors allow you to see that detail much better than black & white (the craftsmanship is superb)! Was disappointed in the board; those fancy curly-que designs are a distraction that takes focus off the main attraction: the chess pieces! I have since purchased a quality board that better compliments the very nice chess pieces (they deserve 5-stars)! Earlier review: Liked the chess pieces; hated the chessboard! Would prefer a wood chessboard; the one provided looks cheap!
