Compares favourably to Lego. The mechanics are excellent and it works really well with the remote control. A feeling of satisfaction when completed. Challenging build for the older child. Excellent value for money.

My 14 year old daughter built this little robot with her dad - it took them around 3 hours and some parts of the build proved challenging at times. There was quite a few bags of pieces included in the set, although none were numbered, so every piece needed emptying out - we used trays for this but it was difficult to sort through so many pieces. The instruction booklet is detailed with pictorial instructions and it's relatively easy to follow with instructions for making the 4 different robots. We've only made the large robot so far, as my daughter really loves this particular build - he's quite an attractive, detailed looking little fella with light up eyes and tubing to the rear. He works really well too - very nippy! Included in the box is a charging lead for the robot and a remote control (this requires 2 x AA batteries - not included). You can also download the app and control the robot via your phone or device, but I'll be honest, we found this wasn't as responsive as using the remote - the Bluetooth signal just wasn't that great. Overall it's a challenging build for older kids and teens - the final build however is very rewarding and both looks and works great.

Very good quality and easy to built. My son adore it. Same as on the ads. Really recommend it but for older boys or teenagers.

This item was bought as a Christmas present, it showed all the promise of being good but after spending the time to build it, it worked for two seconds then put on charge to never working again, Complete waist of money, such a shame.

The robot building kit arrives in the manufactures branded box and contains everything you need to build your model, including remote control and charging lead. You will need to purchase 2 x AA betters for the controller though. The box says this is for aged 6 upwards, it is suitable for a younger chid to play with as a robot radio controlled toy using the hand held device but it certainly isn't suitable for a child of that age to build, even with adult supervision. There is a total of 560 pieces in the kit so quite a lot of building fun especially because you may choose 1 of the 4 robot designs to build but I guess the majority of people want it for the famous model it has taken inspiration from. The building guide instructions are well presented and carefully illustrated to help you build without confusion. As the building bricks bags are not numbered I suggest you tip them all out and sort into piles, I personally did this by colours first as it is easier and then by sizes of the bricks, small and large, then by the shop of the bricks, square and round and finally in to their own separated piles. I do have a large silicone tray to do this though and it has a lipped edge too so pieces will not go missing even with a cat walking along. This is quite a tricky build and complex with many challenges so you really need to concentrate. Having said that, because the robot has 2 identical sides, once you have mastered one side of the robot build it is very easy to do the other mirror identical side. This is really good so you do not lose enthusiasm or patience while building. Also during the build is complex sections followed by easier sections like putting the tread on and you will see your robot actually looking like a robot which gives you a boost to keep building the final pieces. The final build is very robust and the tracking treads go on any surface and not just tiled flat floors. Brilliant little building kit for both child and adult. I personally would say a child age 12 plus for the kit building. The handheld controller is a nice size for small hands to be able to use and the joy stick buttons are easy managed and glide simply with no effort or strength. Building this robot as an adult had ebbs flows throughout the whole experience of the kit, challenging and concentration needed followed by simple and easy steps.

Der kleine Roboter macht meinem 5 Jährigen Sohn viel Freude. Beim Aufbauen brauchte er sehr viel Hilfe. Das wäre beim marktführenden Klemmbausteinhersteller gewiss nicht anders gewesen. Auch bei uns fehlte ein Bauteil. Der Roboter lies sich trotzdem vorerst mit einem halben Arm fertig stellen, so dass kein unmut entstand. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hat das fehlende Bauteil zügig nachgesendet. Natürlich sollte man den Versandweg aus Asien dabei auf dem Schirm haben. Einzig, dass die Plexiglas-Linien immer aus der Halterung rutschen (beim Roboteraufbau) ist etwas schade.

Der Bau von dem Model macht Spass. Schön sind die Bausteine im Metalliclook die es bei dem Marktfüher nicht gibt. Die Bausteine sind aber absolut kompatibel mit den Steinen aus Dänemark. Das Model läßt sich entwerder mit der App oder dem beiliegendem Controler steuern. Leider braucht mal zum Einschalten ein Werkzeug das der Schalter sehr ungünstig liegt. Auch die Ladebuchse für den Fahrakku ist etwas ungünstig eingebaut. Aber Grundsätzlich gibt es für den Preis einen guten Baukasten mit dem man Spass haben kann.
