I'd recently built a new extension, just off the kitchen and the condensation in the winter months was beginning to become a problem, despite opening windows/doors.I had a previously purchased unit, by another manufacturer, which for some time worked well, but then became increasingly noisy and expensive to run.Having purchased this new unit, I was suprised at how small it was. On first run, it did a fantastic job and I awoke with much dryer windows/doors.The tank itself is very easy to empty, another bonus over my old unit. The operation is very quiet, hardly noticable in most cases.Features I like are the timer, which I can set for 6hrs in an evening, head off to bed, wake up the following morning with less condensation and a unit which turns itself off once the timer is complete.It moves around easily with the built in wheels and the instructions of operation were very clear and concise.I've already recommended this unit to a work collegeue and she is looking to purchase as she has the same issue with condensation in the winter months.This unit is excelllent value for money, seems well built, has great features and is most of all quiet.

We brought this for our lounge.The 'HumiZap' Room Dehumidifier is a compact, sleek and effective machine that gives optimal humidity levels in small to medium-sized spaces. This has reduced the dampness level and feeling of moisture in our room. It is lightweight making it easy to move and has a 1.5Ltr collection box with a window so you can see the water level, we empty it nightly but it does have an auto shut-off if we forget. It operates via a touch button system located at the top of the machine.The device operates quietly, making it suitable for nighttime use or even while watching TV.The only negative I have is I wish the collection tank was a bit larger.Over all, we are extremely happy with this product.

Great little dehumidifier. Water capacity isn’t huge but that's not an issue as it turns itself off when full. It has casters for ease of movement. Noise levels are comfortably low which is a bonus. Perfect for our bedroom and good value for money

I`ve had another de humidifier for a while now and it makes more noise and a bit of a gimmick with changing light colours, and that`s about it. Takes for ever to gather enough water in in and the windows are still steamed up.However, this one after about 2 hours had collected a fair bit of water, by the end of the day, the bedroom was showing green, as in, the right humidity. I checked it with a portable humidity checker and you could see the difference right away. It works.Nice and quiet in the slower speed and will try it tonight to see if it keeps me awake.Like someone else commented, it does seems to make a ticking noise from the fan, but I`m sure that will sort itself out.All in all, very happy with it as it does what it says. Well worth buying.

I'm not one for writing reviews but on this occasion I feel this dehumidifier deserves one.I have just ordered another of these because it is well worth every penny. Better than my last one 'branded' one which leaked after six months. This one is quieter, and sucks in moisture beautifully. (It's actually frightening the amount of water that we don't realise is in the air!) Dries my washing quickly and efficiently and is very light and compact. It doesnt have the fancy extras like timers etc but I'm not bothered about all those things. All i want is for it to do its job efficiently and dry my washing during the winter which it does brilliantly.I highly recommend this item.

Worked OK to start with but has since stopped working with a fault code and I have had no response to messages despite it being well within warranty.Was more expensive than a competitors I already had and said it had a higher daily extraction and longer warranty. I thought it would do well positioned next to the main family bathroom that has no extractor fan currently. It frequently collected less than a quarter of the other dehudifier I have daily, despite it's claims that it extracts more daily than the other and it being in a damp area of the house. It is also much noisier than it claims and emptying it can lead to spillages if not very careful due to the design.I will be reporting the seller for not fulfilling the warranty as they are not responding. I would avoid.
