Perfect size for tadka

The pan did not heat up on our induction hob. Apparently, the base is too small in diameter when in contact with the hob's surface for the hob to be activated. In addition, the handle is so heavy relative to the pan part that the pan will not sit level on a hob but will instead lean at an angle unless you manually hold it level. Some other tadka pans I've seen have an "leg" on the handle to avoid this problem.

Really helpful for tadka purpose. Whenever I cook dal, it is the first thing I take out of my dishes. Nice and genuinely priced product. Highly durable but you need to be careful while cooking because during heating oil and spices in it, it can slip because of the round surface and can be a big hazard. Product is very good but you have to be very careful while using it.

This is a heavy weight, substantial pan of good quality. It's the perfect size and shape for Indian cooking, as well as heating spices for other cuisines. I would purchase again.
