I am suffering with perioral dermatitis and have tried lots of over the counter creams but found non to work well and make the inflamed skin worse. After cleaning the area, I have found that applying the Abena Zinc ointment cream, to be the best. It has 20 % zinc oxide, dermatologically tested, no perfume, vegan friendly and suitable for sensitive skin. The consistency is thick enough to help calm the inflamed skin but rubs in well with light pressure. Further it doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy like some preparations so you can put it on in the morning before applying your make-up. The product is good value for 100 mls and a little goes a long way. I have been applying the product for 2 days and it seems to be drying out and calming the patches of dermatitis without irritation or pain. So glad I found this product.

We use this as nappy cream and is one of the best weve tried! Obvs every baby is different but if youre running out of options this is amazing would 10/10 recommend it and is so much cheaper than other nappy creams. Baby had a horrific rash a few months ago and this cleared it, does alot of nappy changes as dont need alot coz it is very thick and leaves a lovely barrier between changes, non-greasy, no fragrance (which is fab) is very moisturising, his skin is now super smooth again and always protected

ABENA Zinc Ointment Cream~The texture is a bit like those nappy cream which is non greasy but seems quite effective for my mum's mature skin. The package is like a toothpaste tue, so easy to apply onto. My mum likes this, so gave it to her as a gift. Buy 2nd time now and its for myself this round. I get awful cystic acne, that doesn’t go away unless extracted - which can obviously leave awful redness and tender marks on my face. I’ve been using this only a week or so - I just cover the bad skin with a good layer, and leave it overnight. The difference in the morning is crazy. I’ve never had anything work this well on my skin. I had used sudocrem, germolene, bepanthen - anything to try and heal the skin. This has blown them all out of the water. I am so impressed with how well it works. It is thick, and you don’t need a large amount at all. I’ve used it on my eczema but it hasn’t helped much with that, it is a bit drying, which is why I think it’s helping with my cystic acne. It’s bringing down the redness, and reducing the oil production - giving great results. It’s got a thick consistency and I’ve not noticed a strong smell or anything, it just smells fresh. I would highly recommend to anyone with acne, cystic acne, pimples or anything like that. It’s worked amazingly well for me, I was not expecting it to work so well. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out. The tube is big enough that I think it will last me 6 months or more. Definitely worth trying for yourself.

I read the reviews but was unsure if this would help. Using it for an adult who needs to wear incontinence pads, the pads are leaving them very itchy, spotty with some cuts and raw skin! We have tried everything and nothing was clearing it up. We've used this on them every day for the last week the raw skin and pain cleared up within 2/3 days and the rest had eased over the week too. As a barrier cream its been amazing they arent feeling the itching and burning now (prolonged use of incontinence pads has left them with dermatitis) they have expressed how much more comfortable they are feeling so if like us you were looking for something to help adults who have to use incontinence pads. Give it a try because it really had been a godsend! It does have a slight scent, its a very thick ointment but although we are cleaning it off and reapplying it, it does last a good amount of time! Very easy to apply and the size of the tube is perfect!

Seems ok, no clinical smell coming from the ointment.

A little goes a long way so this lasts a long time! Great price, and works really well.

I have atopic dermatitis and this cream helped me to heal redness of the skin on the face, neck and shoulders. I have used Cerave after shower and then applied ABENA, so it will not dry skin too much. Used it two times a week. Now just one time a week. Before sleep or in the evening. Great product: price and quality.

Perfect for my acne, after the first use I notice less irritation, and after a week my face is clear. I can’t believe this works so well in my skin
