I have been using Miracle-Gro Plant Food Spikes for the past two years, and my fruit trees are thriving and doing excellent. The difference in growth and overall health has been very noticeable. You simply dig a small hole around the tree and place the spike in the ground—no mixing, no measuring, and no mess. Used for my fruit trees. Actually, got pears for the 1st time after using them. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that some of them were broken. I still pounded those babies in the ground so no waste. Will be buying again.

I'm pretty sure this stuff encouraged my pomegranates to fruit finally. I had gotten a few flowers before, but never fruit; this year I got lots of flowers (also temporarily caged the plants in case it was chickens eating flowers?) and there's a number of fruit on the shrubs. I did find that pounding them into our hard ground many of them broke. Next time I use them I'll likely bring a metal stake (like a concrete steel stake) to pre-drill a hole, then jam the plant food spike into that hole.

These plant food spikes are a must have if you have and kind of fruit trees, I have cherry, apple and peach trees and I use them every year they are easy to use and feed your fruit trees with Nitrogen (10) phosphorus (15) and potash (15) use these and you'll have more fruit and a stronger root base, they don't effect taste and have no odor you'll have healthier plants, I will recommend yearly use!

Last year I put in a blackberry patch with different varieties of plants. Ever Since the pandemic I enjoy growing food for us, maybe from some sense of not wanting to experience again that feeling that comes from shortages and consumer stockpiling. I was disappointed when the plants arrived and they were probably no more than 3 inches tall. I didn’t have too many expectations, but did my homework. The plants survived the winter. In early spring this year I tapped these spikes all around the plants that had had a year to grow, and boy did they! Installed the spikes a little distance from the roots, and scattered some slow release 10-10-10. It is now the middle of May. We have already enjoyed more huge juicy blackberries than we can eat. I have shared with neighbors and am freezing the rest in quart bags to use in our smoothies. We are like little kids going to the patch everyday to see who finds the biggest blackberry. The berries are HUGE!! The plants have shot out big thick primocanes for next year. I would have to say these spikes are amazing. See pics.
