I ordered these, mainly, for their potential gross out factor and I wasn't disappointed!! I used them in jello shots but I also floated them in goblets for the younger crowd. I decided to take my chances after reading some of the very mixed reviews and I'm glad I did! My response to some of the review comments is this - to open the individual packaging, just squeeze the sides of the plastic until the seal breaks open, the iris/pupil of the eyeball were still on the eyeball after removal from packaging, however, the bloodshot appearance was ONLY in the packaging and not, unfortunately, on the actual eyeball, the taste of both the outside of the eyeball AND the gooey inside, were surprisingly good. I was unable to taste any chemical taste but each color of gooey interior DID have a different taste ( some I preferred more than others). I WILL order these again when I'm in the market for some eyeballs, that's for certain!!

These were a bit hard to open, but that might be a feature: my daughter and her friend liked them so much, I think they would have all been gone on day one if they were easier to open. Taste pretty decent and sufficiently realistic looking and squishy enough to gross out the squeamish folks out there, which is exactly why you'd want to get these in the first place!

I did a lot of research on these candies before I purchased them. There are a lot companies who try to mimic the Troli eyeball candies, and this was the only brand that seemed to nail it without overpricing the hell out of the product or messing up shipment. A lot of reviews I saw on products similar to this had complaints about the candies melting, packaging coming ripped, or a high price for a low quantity. This brand had none of the those issues. There are about eighteen eyeballs per package, they come in a plastic reusable container which keeps them all in place and prevents them from melting, and they're priced at fourteen dollars. The candy is sweet, with the center slightly resembling the taste of those Hubba Bubba Squeeze Pops that were discontinued in the 00’s. The packaging is difficult to open, but I have no issue with this considering that it is a gummy candy that needs to be secured to prevent leaks, melting, etc. Overall I’m extremely pleased with my order and happy that I came across these on my Amazon page. These gummy eyeballs were a hit with my kids! They look super realistic, come individually wrapped, and the fruity liquid center makes them extra fun to eat. Perfect for parties, kids, or Halloween treats. 100% would buy them again!

This is one of worst items I have ordered from Amazon. Does not look like the product pictured at all. Almost all of them were half full, no liquid center like it mentions. A lot of them had a sugary coating on the top of them. Then to mention the product is absolutely the hardest to even open. Will never order these again.

While I don't understand the price, by son saw something on YouTube and HAD to have these. They were accurate to the description, and they did taste better than a few other eyeballs (not the top thought). Given the trouble it cost to get these, I would say it was worth the cost at the time. It's still one of his favorite gifts, so go YouTube, I suppose. Draining my bank, but happy kid.

They are exactly what you want. Goo filled eyeballs. Problem is the price is waaaaay too much. These should be 5 bucks at best for what you get.
