Well my niece is 10 going on a p and loves grown up stuff from time to time. I had gotten bitty character speakers for the others but for her I wanted something more special. I was surprised at the quantity of sound bd enjoyed making the colors change in my room so I know she is really going to enjoy this.Officially Best Aunty Ever

I purchased this to take on vacation & it did not disappoint. The speaker can also be used as a light which I considered a bonus. The price is great to not have to worry about losing it in travel or damaging it on the beach which it worked out very nice.

This is a great little speaker and we love it and use it daily. The only negative for us is the connection voice. It is really loud and annoying and we have not found a way to lower the volume or stop it at all. When it connects, it says "Bluetooth Connected" really loudly. Then when you disconnect, it says something like "Bluetooth disconnected. Waiting for device connected." Again, really loudly. Often we are disconnecting it after our 3 yr old and 6 month old are in bed and it has woken them up before. It has also spoken in the middle of the night and woken us up. We have gotten in the habit now of just turning it completely off before the kids' bedtimes.

With an active lifestyle, I prefer a speaker that is durable and sounds great. This Bluetooth speaker sounds great and even packs some pretty good lows considering its size. Although the product description may be slightly misleading in terms of the RGB lighting, the LEDs are very bright and provides a more than adequate night light, however the light modes are 4 brightnesses for the warm white, red, and color cycle, and the shapes of the hardware buttons on the front are circular instead of pill shaped but overall is meaningless to the quality of the speaker. The build quality is very good, it's lightweight but still feels very solid. The battery life of the device is very good, I have been playing music from my phone all day with the color cycling mood light on at about half volume and it has lasted about 6 and a half hours. When I make calls with the speaker the other person can hear me very well and the sound doesn't feedback to the person you're talking to. Overall I'm very pleased with this speaker, I personally wish it had more lighting effects but I can't complain too much given how clean the sound quality replicates trebles even at high volumes, definetely a good buy
