I buy these often as I have found so many uses for them. I've never had any problems with the zippers and any plastic odor dissipates quickly. They're not too large for a purse either. They do arrived sorta squished down, but taking a moment to help shape them makes them ready for whatever purpose you desire. (For stamps, crochet hooks, thread and needles, of course pens and pencils, cosmetics, travel, crayons and small toys.....lots of uses!) They also last a good long while! A super bargain as far as I am concerned! I love them!

Love these bags. They have held up pretty well. I have one with first aid items and another with phone cords for travel. The plastic is pliable and the bag seems to be well made. Great buy!

But they are also good for storage in closet. I had to air them out for days to get rid of the plastic smell. Then they were fine. I sprayed vinegar in brown paper and zipped up for a week.
