Philips Electric Shaver Series 3000X - Wet & Dry Electric Shaver for Men in Celestial Blue, with SkinProtect Technology, Pop-up Beard Trimmer, Ergonomic Men's Shaver (Model X3053/00)

I’ve used a straight razor from the time I started shaving over 20yrs ago to about 5yrs ago when I switched to a basic electric foil shaver, as no matter how careful I was I always cut my face all over. Unfortunately an electric foil shaver just was not getting a close enough shave for me and left my skin red and sore ( I have very sensitive skin) if I went over the same area too many times. I decided to try a rotary shaver and bought this model. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. The shaver is not too noisy, charges fast, great contour on the face and in the hand and also comes in a lovely colour/finish. Additionally it is very simple to clean. It does not give as close a shave as a straight razor (what does?) however I can go over the same area as many times as I need to get a close a shave as possible with an electric shaver, and not be left red and sore. Highly recommended.

Now I'm getting a bit lazy in my old age, or perhaps tired by the demands of my "new" fixer-upper home, so I often go a few days without a shave. I know they say new brush sweeps clean, but this Philips shaver is everything I'd hope for from a leading brand. So even long stubble is crisply mown through, though needing a few passes, but the final result rivals a wet shave without the bleeding. Not bad. There are some cheap rivals on the market with glowing reports but I can't believe they would match the durability of the pricier leading makes.

Phillips always reliable this is my husband’s favourite brand of shaver he is very pleased the way this shaves dry or wet. Yes always a winner .

Good quality works well

A replacement for a SweetLF razor. Robust plastic construction with a solid feel. Charging took a few hours possibly because of the cable configuration and battery life (dependent on use) appears to be about 6 weeks. It comes with a standard USB to twin cable, USB C may have been a faster charge, but this does the job. The large collection areas behind the blades are easy to clean, but it does not come with a brush or travel bag. In hot weather when using sun cream clean the blades more often, to prevent them clogging. The motor sounds like it's using a lot of effort, but the cut is smooth and comfortable, and the trimmer built into the handle is wide and easy to use.

Philips shaver - very good value and almost identicle to my previous Philips shaver which I had for 9 years. Better cut and usb charging makes it superb. A basic shaver but excellent for me.

More decades ago than I care to admit, I had a two-blade, mains power Philips rotary. It was compact, performed very well and two blades were ample - you could see where they were both going, for a start. With three blades, one is out of sight. For me, this means that when I shave the underside of the chin, the third blade goes too far down and can snag on the throat. (Ouch! Ointment.) The mitigation is to hold the shaver at right angles, so not a major issue ... but this is what you get when three blades are deemed better than two, for no logical reason that I can see. That user issue aside, build quality is what you would expect for the price - not solid, but adequate - and wet shave performance after over two days is very good. For one-day dry shaving I still use entry-level Braun for good results without snagging. If you are familiar with Philips rotary and if your beard is not ultra-tough, my guess is that this will be fine. As and when (or if) I replace this in a few years, I will try another Philips, but one level up, and see how that goes.

Es buena opción pero no en seco ya que irrita mucho, aún mojado si llega a irritar un poco, seguiré usando para ver si lo dejo o lo sigo usando

Das Gerät ist sehr wertig verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und liefert ein sehr gutes Ergebnis. Die Einrichtung der App ist etwas eigenwillig. :)

Les rasoirs Philips me conviennent bien, car efficaces et doux. Les autres marques comme Braun irritent ma peau. Et un prix super intéressant !

Buena máquina, no tiene mucha potencia, pero afeita bien, eso sí hay que tener paciencia y dar muchos repasos, por otra parte no irrita la piel,por lo menos en mi caso y lo dice uno que es de piel sensible. En fin no te va a dejar un afeitado super apurado, pero lo suficiente para salir al paso.
