Natural comfort / natural material / natural color (no toxic dyes, no synthetic fibers)
I honestly love my new socks. I purchased one package of the longer ones and one package of the shorter ankle length. The package arrived in a very simple clean hygienic packaging and with out any oder what so ever. I washed them on the wool cycle in my washer cold gentle wash lay & flat to dry. These are a natural creamy color, they are soft and warm but also let your feet breath. They are well above and beyond with better quality and comfort properties than the heavily dyed, often too tight, and mixed fabric of the well known and popular Smartwool brand. If you are looking for natural comfort with a naturally beautiful wool sock I highly recommend these socks. My "other" brand socks mentioned above are itchy the nylon or unnatural mixed fibers are rough and pill up, the colors are probably toxic and the tops are always too tight. I just emptied out my sock draw and placed my new Yun truly natural beauties in my drawer. There is something so nice about knowing the textiles, socks and clothing in our life is natural and not synthetic. Good for the body, good for the planet as well. If you buy them you will see what I mean. Enjoy your new socks!

Warm socks
These are very nice and warm socks. They are also thin. I put two pairs just to be extra warm. I paired them with my on clouds which are breathable. At 20 degrees on New York streets I was nice and warm and was not cold at any point of time.

Sock is casual or dressy, not too thick
They are a little scratchy, especially after wearing the thick wool socks with the fluffy inside layers, but they are sturdy, traditional looking, are good for hiking and can be worn with dress pants or jeans. I bought these because I drive for a living and I read other reviews that you could wear these for 3 days without your feet smelling bad. They WORK! If you need socks that you can wear hiking, camping, driving, or in places you know you won't have a washer/dryer available, these work well and your feet won't smell like they do in plain cotton socks. They work better than the athletic dry wicking socks for fighting foot odor and keeping your feet feeling warm and dry. I don't put these in the dryer, because I want them to last a long time. I hang them over a curtain rod or bungee cord by clipping the open edges together with a clothes pin or file clip. They fit perfectly and I am not sure if the dryer would shrink them. For hiking, a thin pair of dress socks as a first layer will help if you are prone to blisters. Overall these socks are a good value and I may buy another set in a different color this winter.

Pros and cons
The socks are not 100% wool-they have elastic in the cuff. Usually it would be enough for me to send the socks back (and give them one star in my review), since I can’t tolerate any tightness and don’t appreciate the deceptive description. But the socks are not tight in the cuff, and the rest of the sock is pure wool, so I kept them. They are somewhat itchy if worn on bare skin, so initially I used them on top of other socks, but now I can use them on their own without any discomfort. They are not soft, but warm and do not constrict my feet, which is what I need the most. I also appreciated the decent price for the wool socks. I wear size 6.5-7, and the socks are pretty big on my feet, but that doesn’t bother me.

LOVE!!
These socks are exactly what I was looking for! *CUTE* pattern, comfy, and 100% wool!! Did you know your laundry is polluting the earth with microfibers? For that reason, I’m trying to move towards a biodegradable wardrobe. It’s been SO hard to find socks that don’t contain elastane or other plastics. Very grateful to have found these!! Bear in mind that because they don’t have elastane, they’re not going to be snug and stretchy like your typical sock these days. That being said, they fit my size 8 foot nicely… a tiny bit loose, but that’s okay. Might try washing in lukewarm water to see if that shrinks them a little. Also note that these are not going to be the softest socks you wear. These are NOT the plastic microfiber fuzzy socks a lot of people are used to. That being said, I’m impressed by how soft they are considering that they’re all wool! I don’t find them itchy or irritating at all, and I’ve had issues with other wool in the past. DO wash before wearing, though. They soften a bit with washing. Please keep making these socks!!

I thought I hated these, but now they’re my favorite socks!
I bought these because a friend recommended them and they’re 100% wool and a good price. I got them and was so excited to wear them as it was winter and I wanted some warm wool socks. I put them on and immediately hated them!! They were so scratchy I could barley stand it! I washed them in luke warm water and some of my hair conditioner to try and soften them. This worked a little but I still couldn’t stand them next to my skin. My boyfriend on the other hand LOVED them immediately! Well one very cold morning I put on a pair of cotton socks, but my toes were still cold, so I slipped on the wool ones over the cotton and then wore them literally all day inside my Uggs. I did this for a few days and then grabbed just the wool ones one day to quickly walk to the mailbox or something and noticed, they weren’t scratchy anymore!!! I think just the wearing helped to soften them. I now love these more than any other socks! They’re so incredibly breathable, and keep my feet dry in my boots if I’m outside in the garden or after a rainy day and they do not feel hot no matter how long I wear them. I plan on buying more and getting the short socks for summer time. They also don’t pill (make little wool balls) like other wool socks when you wear them. They also don’t smell even after a week of continuous use.

Buy them. Just, buy them. Right now.
If I could leave a ten star review, I would. These socks are 100% lambswool. All natural fiber, not a blend, which is just so hard to find now. I bought one 3 pack, and very shortly after ordered another. I plan to order about 4 more 3 pair packs, as I want these to be my only socks. They are not too thick, not too thin. Good in summer and also in winter. They are not itchy. Wool and cotton are the best for your skin, but wool is best for your feet. You can wear these socks four times in a row and they will not smell like anything but sock, as wool is naturally self cleaning and antimicrobial. I machine wash them and I lay flat to air dry. They did not seem to shrink during washing, which is fine. I am a size 6 and do not feel that they need to fit more tightly, though they would fit up to a womans size 10. My boyfriend is a mens 10 and he can wear them, though they are still technically too small. Just remember that you have probably never worn a sock that doesnt contain spandex, which means it could feel a tad different to wear socks that dont cling snugly to your foot. They are a knit item so they stretch and contract naturally. Just buy these socks. The only thing that bothers me is that they come wrapped in plastic, in a plastic bag, within another plastic amazon package. I'm just super tired of plastic. Hence the excitement over 100% natural fiber socks. NOTE TO SELLER: NEVER STOP SELLING THESE SOCKS. I WILL BUY THEM FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

Not sure if they’re 100% wool anymore.
I have bought these multiple times and they were 100% wool. I recently purchased two more packs and I believe they are now a wool blend and not 100% wool.
