The Swift 2 matches the Swift 2 Pro except it has no video recording. The Swift Max costs less but offers shorter range (228ft vs 430ft), a narrower 40° FOV, 3hr battery life, and single 850nm IR vs the Swift 2 & Swift 2 Pro's dual 850+940nm.

What is the difference between 850nm and 940nm IR modes?

850nm gives brighter, longer-range illumination but emits a faint red glow visible to humans and animals. 940nm is more covert with low visible glow, at the cost of slightly shorter range. Switch between them depending on your subject and distance.

Can the Swift 2 be helmet mounted?

Yes. Every Swift model now includes both a head strap and a dovetail helmet mount as standard, so you can wear it hands-free straight out of the box. The dovetail is compatible with popular tactical mounting systems such as the Nightfox N247.

What is the range of the Swift 2 at night? Does it work with an infrared flashlight?

The Swift 2 has a range of approximately 130m (142yd) depending on conditions. This range can be boosted with a handheld IR flashlight (such as the Nightfox XB5) to around 165m (180yd).

Does the battery need to be removed to charge?

No need to remove the battery for charging - just plug the included USB-C cable straight into your Swift. The battery can be removed for replacement when needed using a Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver, but day-to-day charging happens in place.
