These lights completely transformed our house from boring to extraordinary. The installation was surprisingly easy — the transformer and lights came with everything needed, and setup was a breeze even without prior landscape lighting experience. The colors are very bright and vibrant, and being able to change them for different holidays or occasions is a huge plus. They work just as well for everyday accent lighting as they do for seasonal themes. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the transformer’s timer tends to drift slightly over time and may need occasional adjustment if you rely heavily on exact on/off timing. That said, the photocell works flawlessly, turning the lights on at dusk and off at daylight without any issues. These lights are well worth the money we spent and now have our neighbors asking where we got them from.

Bought the spot light set with an additional 8 piece path lights. Other than the set, you will need the low voltage cables to attach the lights for. In the product description they don't mention what kind of cable you need, but the manual has a detailed chart. I went with two 14 gauge 100 feet cables. The system works with it perfectly. After opening the box, my first impression was that it is a good quality product, both the transformer and the lights. Lights are made of metal. Tested them before full set up and all worked. Assembly was easy. Lights don't require much, just screw them together. Spotlight are 2 pieces, pathway lights were 4 pieces. The most time consuming portion was the connector assembly due to the number of lights, but not hard work. Total assembly and set up was about 3 hours in total. The lights come with two two remotes, one long range and one short range. Long range are for easy set up for all lights. The short range is for individual color choices. The 300W transformer can run two lines, mine set up for two 100 feet with total wattage of 168. All lights work perfectly, no flickering. Yiu can turn the lights on manually, set up certain time intervalls or just use the light sensor to turn on and off. Based on few weeks of use, I would recommend this and might buy another one for the front of my house as well.

I purchased this set of lights to create year around holiday themes for the outside if the house, starting with Christmas. These SUNVIE light heads are of all metal construction, and seem to be well sealed around the lens. During the install one of the 12 light heads proved to be defective, where it would light but not respond to any remote. All the other light heads worked 100%. You can not return just 1 light head to Amazon for a replacement, I would have to of sent the entire package back. However I did write to support at SUNVIE with my issue, and not only did they respond the next day, they offered to replace the 1 defective light with 2 new ones. I provided my address directly to them, and within the week a package arrived with 2 brand new light heads and connectors! I am Impressed. This is very very good support and customer service. The power supply is a nice heavy transformer type, and has all the options for timer on/off and photocell on/off, plus test and manual on/off. It mounted quickly with the included hardware. Please see the included photos and video. I will definitely continue to purchase SUNVIE products as I add tree up lights in the spring. It's nice to find a company that stands behind their sales. PS: Tip - Anytime you install outside ground lights, especially with buried low voltage cable using insulation displacement connectors - you will get longer life from the cable connectors by adding a dab of dielectric grease to the connector to keep the moisture out. :)

I purchased in 2023. They worked well. I loved changing the colors for each holiday. However, half of them are not working now. I have not checked the wiring yet. Waiting on my husband to get a voltage meter to determine the problem. Can’t determine which lights aren’t working except at dark.. I got a lot of compliments on them.

They're water resistant, really bright, easy to wire up and use, and can be adjusted to most, if not all applications. Basic colors and for what you get out the box, it well worth the money.

We have been super happy with these lights and the company’s customer support. The lights work well, are bright and easy to install. I bought the 12 pack and installed everything one afternoon. About a month later, one of the lights stopped working properly. I think moisture got inside. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me a replacement light. Now everything works perfectly. I highly recommend this product!

Bought 2 sets. No issues except for the connector between the light and the power line. I used 12 gauge wire, and the connector is poorly engineered to accommodate the size. The threaded nut is so weak it can not push the prongs in the connector through the insulation on the power line. I used a 12mm socket wrench so I could simultaneously turn the nut and press down. If you just use your fingers, the threads slip. If I knew the thread size I would have just bought some metal nuts at Lowes. Other than that, a very good system. User interface on the panel is very logical, and easy to use. Kudos there. Light quality is good. Controller is good also. Would buy again.

I'm upset. Not only did this crap cost over $200, I spent an additional $100 on 2 spools of 16-gauge wire that are now punctured with the useless Sunvie connectors. Here's the sequence of disappointing events: First off, only 11 out of the 12 lamps worked. Second, the short-range remote doesn't work. Despite my frustration, I was still prepared to keep the product. After seeing the high reviews on Amazon about Sunvie's customer service (it must all be "curated")... I wrote an email directly to Sunvie and NOBODY responded. A bridge too far is when I learned that transformer, too, is defective: it did not turn the lights on at dark via the photovoltaic sensor. In order to make it work, I had to unplug the transformer and then plug it back in again. No. The EXPENSIVE 16-gauge wire I purchased was too good for Sunvie. Worst, I may never used that wire again because I'm likely going back to augmenting the high-voltage system Sunvie's system was to upgrade. (HA!) My cobbled-together "high voltage" system consists of AC spotlights, an extension cord I equipped with outlets every four feet that I purchased on Amazon years ago, and a regular photovoltaic timer I used on my Christmas lights. (Also, Sunvie's has only 16 color choices whereas my original light had access millions of color choices on a color wheel!) Sunvie must be the same company operating under many different brands. I have LED light strips in my kitchen and on my headboard under two completely different company names that are affected by the Sunvie's long-range remote which simultaneously turns on and off change the patterns and colors of my interior lights, too! I would never knowingly buy another set of lights to interfere with those. Last, it's a Pain in the Tush to have to disassemble and repack the darn thing for shipping back to Amazon.... ugh!
