Great deck brush

This brush is very sturdy and perfect for deep cleaning a deck. The handle does not hold up at all. Need to buy a good screw in handle.

Used this for the first test inside to clean stone tile floors. It did a fine job, no scratching or damage to the tile. Next I brought it outside to the patio to clean bird droppings and dirt from the concrete. Again, it did a great job! Cleaned the concrete, removed the stains and discoloration with nothing more than hot water and a firm hand. Bristles are stiff but not damaging. Handle is sturdy and while it did collapse at one point, that was user error on my part. I did not test this on a wood deck so cannot say whether or not the in between plank part works well but judging by the rest of the brush, I am sure it will do a great job!

The brush itself is ok. The pole Is cheap! Snapped on me while cleaning my deck on the first day of use. Got on my Knees and started Scrubbing like Cinderella, as I wanted to get deck cleaned that day and did not have time to go to store.

The brush head is decent. The handle is lightweight and not going to last with any kind of serious sweeping. And when the handle does break (and it will, I can tell already), replacing it will be a challenge since the designers of this didn't go with a standard 3/4" thread pole. That's a shame since this will be garbage at that point

Hard to use on a deck

I noticed some other reviews mentioning the handle is flimsy. The one I received seems ok. I tried the spacing out on our deck, and the two narrow fangs fit perfectly into the deck spacing. We (or I should say my husband!) will be using this in a few weeks when warmer weather arrives, to clean and prep our deck for sealing.

I like the firmness and placement of the bristles, The two wide teeth-like bunches of bristles are spaced just right for scrubbing in between planks. It's getting things off that the pressure washer didn't. The housing of the brush itself is a hard plastic that seems sturdy enough. But that's where its merits end. The handle, and the plastic threaded knob that screws it into the brush are pretty cheezy. It seems durable like the brush body, but plastic right there never works out very well. Not crazy about how this and lots of gardening tools and other items are made to save on shipping costs. They're not collapsible for our convenience, as many claim. If you need a shorter handle, this feature could come in handy. Mayne if you're scrubbing walls in a narrow hallway or something. But scrubbing a deck, you're generally going to want it at its full length. I see failure in the future for whatever mechanics are at play for this thing to extend and lock in place. It's also a cheezy, shiny, soft metal-like material, it looks like, and just doesn't seem like it's going to excell in the longevity department. This will eventually turn into a hand brush, I'm betting. It is doing the job it's designed to do, so far, though.

The retractable handle broke during the first use. This is basically going in the garbage within 24 hrs of getting it.
