You should change cabin air filter by yourself.
Do not let your dealership overcharge you for the work they did not perform. Use this to change cabinets air filter yourself. I noticed that my old cabin air filter was used both sides when I pulled it out to install this one. Not cool. I think this cabin air filter works as expected and air quality is definitely improved shortly after installation.

As good as OEM, better value
I have been buying EP Auto air filters for years. They are as good as OEM and much cheaper than parts stores or even Walmart. Very convenient to have it delivered quickly to my door.
