Fitvids Olympic 2-Inch Cast Iron Plate Weight Plate for Strength Training and Weightlifting, Vintage Style, 35LB Pair

Just got these weights today. These are the cast iron and serve their purpose. There are very few minor imperfections in the coating if you are a perfectionist about that sort of thing but functionally they are great. They came a couple of days early. If you’re on a budget like me then these are a great option.

Great cast iron weights, I’ll definitely be buying more, not covered with grease or oil, easy fit on my bar. Good grip if you want to work the tris out or use just your hands.

Exactly what you expect. Strong, solid plates. Great size and look. No bad smell or color issues. Weight is perfect and haven’t had any issues with scratches or paint

Mine weighed 34.6lbs, close enough and great price. Some nicks in the plates but that’s to be expected

I wanted to give the seller the chance to remedy this before leaving a review by reaching out through the email that they ask us to contact if there are any issues. I bought the 245lbs set so they all arrived seperatley but the 35lbs box with the pair inside had been abused. Box was ripped and plates where cracked and chipped. No response from the seller's emails so here we are. In the other plates they are not chipped so are just okay, there are imperfections in the paint and the mold they used allows pockmarks in the plates so it is what it for the price but don't expect accurate weights or customer service. I'd probably have given 4 stars as they aren't perfectly made or painted, and probably not accurately weighed given the difference in the quality from plate to plate. But the broken set and the lack of customer service bumps the ratings down.
