Looking for Sandvik pruners? Bahco now makes these great pruners, these are the very BEST!
The best pruners you can get. I own all sizes of these and this 8 inch is my favorite size. I'm a 5'9" female with average to a little larger hands. The 9" was a bit too big for me but my husband loves those, while the 6 and 7.5" were also good for me, I still tend to pick up the 8". I have had a pair of Sandviks for 20 years and when I tried to buy more recently I found they were no longer around. These are identical so I'm assuming Bahco bought Sandvik. I was thrilled to find these again, someone had an old pair of sandviks on ebay for over 100.00! If you are looking for those buy these, they are the same pruners. I have many and I love them all. These are easy to take apart for sharpening and they last forever.

Great Value
Yep, this here's the real deal. I've now used the pruner for one summer and I've no complaints. Just the right size and it cuts great. Ever notice how you can tell a fine too just by picking it up and looking at it? That's the case here. Nothing fancy; just great quality and performance. The only fault I can find is that the blades will rust. You'll have to keep on top of this and use the appropriate remedy.I'm beginning to get a crush on Bahco tools. They just work great at less than high end prices. You should try them.

Best quality garden shears out there
We use these for pruning our fruit and nut trees , also used for snipping out girdled roots . These are very high quality ! All steel construction and can be disassembled to clean and resharpen the blades . made in france but we don't mind because these little shears are friggin awesome . cons are they are not light and they will rust if not cared for ( just wipe clean and oil after use )

Tough to lock
This was purchased as a replacement for a previous pruner that was not broken, but would not lock closed and stayed in open “dangerous “ position. I read reviews on all products and selected this one as it’s simple lock mechanism seemed like it would be easy and straightforward. I find it difficult to get bale to slip over handle to lock. Other than that it seems to work fine so far and is sharp.

not good enough for someone used to 9" Bahco pruner
buy 9" if you have large and strong hand.8" has less leverage, not good enough for someone used to 9" Bahco pruner.
