For a small pet water dispenser, this is a good one. The smaller the dispensers, the more difficult they are to refill due to their flimsy plastic construction. This dispenser is sturdy and easy to refill and clean. The stainless steel bowl pulls straight out for cleaning. The dispenser is also easy to remove and clean. Replacing a filled dispenser is also easy to install without water leakage or spilling. Recommend purchasing.

Having an active Australian Cattle Dog, she gets thirsty a lot and I was forever checking her water bowls and adding water to them. Also, she occasionally would have fun puddling around in her bowls getting water all over the place. The amount of water held is very good because I wouldn't want it to sit in too long. For some reason, pawing in her water bowl hasn't seemed so much fun in this bowl. It's easy to clean the bowl, the water container, and refill.

Originally bought this for a vacation where we were leaving the cats behind for a few days. Prior to leaving, we tested how long the volume of water would last for the two cats. It easily went over two weeks. Even though you could leave it for the whole time the water lasts, it will get dirty from dirty cat paws or cat faces . We like to clean out the bowl every few days, even though there’s plenty of water to last much longer. You can easily remove the bottle that holds the majority of the water and set it aside to wash the whole bowl area. Also, we have noticed no leaks, but we also are careful to be sure that the water bottle is fitted straight down on the lever in the bowl. Once it snaps into place there is a stop internally that will only let out just enough water to fill the bowl comfortably. Nevertheless, I do recommend you put this bowl on a tray protect your floors from pet splashing.

We were pleased with the size, look & quality but within a day of use water kept coming out from underneath the bowl. We have tried to put a mat down but the amount of water that leaks on a daily seaps through and onto our wood floors. I was disappointed when I reached out to customer service to learn they would not replace the item. I will not buy from this company again.

Nothing wrong with the product, it was definitely designed to fit a filter (which you have to purchase separately) but you don't need one to work. My only issue is that the bowl is small. My cat is literally twice the size of it. The drinking part is barely the size of her head. As long as she can drink from it it's fine, however.

This waterer works perfectly and is pretty easy to clean. I quickly abandoned the filter as it got gross and I didn’t feel the need to buy a replacement. I use a bottle cap to hold up the piece that releases water now that I don’t use the filter. It works great! I use water bottle tablets (unflavored) to clean the reservoir and the cap once a week and wash the bowl when it’s dirty.

I had a different version where there wasn’t a removable bowl and I found it just got too dirty. I do wish the removable bowl was a better quality. It’s very thin stainless steel. I can easily remove the pan and give it a good clean On a daily basis.
